A One Direction Fan

I jumped in the shower and threw on my cutest outfit: a small springy dress with a brown belt and my favorite white strappy sandals. I curled my hair with my wand--which is something I never do, but decided to anyway for Harry--and applied some eye shadow, mascara, and a dab of lip gloss. I had to admit, I was looking pretty good. And that should do SOMETHING, if I even got to meet the boys today, that is.

I went downstairs to the kitchen and opened the fridge to find an inviting carton of eggs. I scrambled up a couple and popped some bacon into the microwave. While that was cooking, I poured some orange juice and stared at the timer, attempting to make it go faster, because if it didn't, my stomach was going to burst.

After what seemed like hours, the microwave beeped and I sat down with my breakfast, happily scarfing it down.

Afterwards, I decided to check my Facebook and Twitter. On Facebook, I had three new notifications. "Wow, I'm popular today!" I thought with a full blown sarcastic tone. I clicked the notifications icon, and the three notifications were all from the same person-Ryan. I sighed as I tried to get him out of my head. I ended it with Ryan after I found out he had an affair while we were dating...with my best friend. It still hurt to look at him, even though it had been a full four months since we broke up. And apparently, he still thought about me to this day.

I ignored the notifications and moved on to my new message, from my best friend Sydney. "Hey! Have fun at the concert tonight! If you meet the boys, tell Liam you have a very pretty friend who would love to meet him. ;)" I laughed and responded with a quick okay and updated my status: Tonight is the night! I'm going to see One Direction in concert. Could today get any better?!

On Twitter, I had one new follower. Excited it might be one of the boys finally following me back, I looked at who it was, and it was only my mom. I sighed and tweeted: "@Harry_Styles @NiallOfficial @zaynmalik @Real_Liam_Payne @Louis_Tomlinson I finally get a change to see you in concert! Can't wait :) Can you do the Inbetweeners dance for us?! I'm in Section 104, Row J, Seat 8 :)'

I shut my laptop and glanced around for something to do until I had to leave. I decided to resist the urge to listen to One Direction or look at pictures of them, just to save it for the concert. I finally settled with watching television for a few hours. When I turned on the set, I felt myself perk up even more when I realized my favorite show, Impractical Jokers, was on. It was my favorite episode, the one where the guys give CPR lessons and Joe tells Larry to "stay away from the light!". I cracked up as the customers gave their bewildered expressions.

Eight episodes of Impractical Jokers and two bags of popcorn later, I was finally ready to leave to go to the arena. I was exploding with excitement and couldn't stop from jumping up and down in my seat. I knew today was going to be the greatest day of my life. I knew everything there was to know about the five guys. The fact that Niall loved food as much as Liam hated spoons. How Harry loved tacos while Louis loved carrots. How Zayn's ego was as big as his hair. How Niall was the oddball out, with a brother, an Irish accent, blonde hair, and a dominant left hand. How Liam had one less kidney and Harry had two extra nipples. If I ever met them, I would ask them questions about if any of that was really true. Is Niall really as disgusting and self conscious as people say? Is Harry really a player? Does Zayn actually have a big ego? I shook off my thoughts and hopped into my car. I started the ignition and put the car into reverse, carefully pulling out of my long, winding driveway. I started off down the road, thinking of how precious it was going to be to finally see them in concert. I wasn't really paying any attention, and right when I realized I should slow down, a cop's siren and lights turned on behind me.
