A Dream

"I tried playin' it cool, but when I'm lookin' at you, I can't ever be brave, 'cause you make my heart race." I sang along with Liam, still as happy as ever that I was actually at a One Direction concert. Then, my heart skipped a beat as the magnificent Harry cascaded into position and started to sing, along with my accompaniment, of course.
"Shot me outta the sky, you're my-" Harry stopped singing, and the funny thing was, he was looking straight at me.
"Wait, everyone. Stop. Stop the music." he said. EVeryone stopped screaming, and his eyes were still locked on mine. The music stopped and Liam, Niall, Louis, and Zayn looked at him with bewilderment. Butterflies took over my insides. What was he doing?
"You." He pointed at me. I looked around and pointed at myself.
"Me?" I asked.
"Yes. You. Come here, please." He smiled that cheeky smile everyone--especially me--loved and pointed at the place he wanted me to come: right in the middle of the stage next to him.
Eyes wide with astonishment, I came over to the stage and let security guide me on.
I was so confused. Harry Styles just stopped a concert to get me to come onto the stage by him. This makes no sense. Why me? Why now? What did he want? So many questions that just had to be unanswered for a few minutes.
The crowd started growing impatient, so Harry settled them down, for once taking his eyes off me.
"Alright now. Settle down. I have a very important announcement to make. I've been noticing this young lady here the entire time I've been here and I needed to say something."
I was now officially freaking out. I didn't even bring anyone here as a witness and it's not like I was about to whip my phone out right here in the middle of the stage. I must be dreaming. Harry Styles did not just stop a concert to talk to me. And then, when I noticed the juggling clown with an elephant in the back of the arena, I sighed and realized it was a dream.

I woke up, sad that it was a dream, but ecstatic about what the day was to bring. Today was the day I would finally get to see One Direction in concert.
