After some free time in Osaka as well, we again headed back for Korea. This time we had a longer break. Cino and Jacob greeted us with the same enthusiasm as before and once again I was amazed by how soon we came back to our daily lives. It was the day before our anniversary when I stood in the kitchen, baking some cupcakes and hoping JK wouldn't go visiting Tae again. I already was decorating them and "Dear future husband" was playing while I was literally going off. I sang along so loudly that I jumped when I suddenly heard Jungkook behind me saying: "Are you trying to tell me anything?" I tried to get my act together and turned around. "What were you thinking scaring me so much?", I complained. He smiled. I raised an eyebrow. I was in a good mood, so I just looked at him suggestively and continued my singing: "Dear future husband, here's a few things you need to know..." He laughed and came over and soon we were both dancing through the kitchen, making up a full choreo and just having fun while singing along so loud that I guess even Jacob heard us. The next song in my playlist suited the mood perfectly. With the second verse of "Paper rings" I put the cupcakes aside for real and turned around to my boyfriend, singing the lyrics to him: "Kiss you once cause I know you had a long night, kiss you twice cause it's gonna be alright, three times cause you waited your whole life – one, two; one, two, three, four!" And before he could say anything I turned around and started to dance again while continuing my singing. He laughed and quickly caught up to me. I didn't stop singing to him while he was just smiling like an idiot. In one of the breaks, he hugged me and whispered: "I'll chose the next song" and went over to my phone. While he unlocked it and chose probably more than one song, I went off again: "I like shiny things, but I'll marry you with paper rings..." After the song ended, he came over and said: "Alright. First: You are getting a real ring and it will be absolutely shiny." I raised an eyebrow grinning. "Second", he continued, "I am waiting for my three kisses. And third: I love you." I blushed and kissed him. Three times.

"My turn now", he smiled as we pulled away and led me onto the terrace. The sun sent her last rays over to us and draw a reddish-purple shade across the sky. Soon it would get cold and the stars would come out. I enjoyed the view over the vast garden in this beautiful lighting to the fullest as I heard a suspicious noise behind me. Without turning around, I asked Jungkook: "You took a photo?" "Yes", he said and came up to me, "The scenery was just too beautiful." "The scenery?", I smirked. "Mostly the person in the scenery", he replied and turned me towards him. Then he held up my phone and pressed the play button again. The first notes of "Your eyes tell" started to play and my heart melted as he took my hands, pulled me close and we started to dance over the terrace, tightly hugging. It was magical. He sang softly along into my ears and I took in all of him: The scent, the voice, the warmth, the feeling of his body and breath and whatever this was that had been awakened between us since our first kiss. I got completely lost in the moment and was sad when he let go off me after the song. He locked eyes with me and smiled softly when he said: "Whenever I am down or hopeless, I look at you and your eyes tell me – It's gonna be alright as long as I have you around." I blushed and muttered: "BTS, Army and me, you mean." He chuckled. "Okay, I guess you are right", he admitted and caressed my cheek. Then he led me inside the living room again and I now realized that "Answer: Love myself" had started to play. "I love this song", I said dreamingly. "I know", he smiled and we looked at each other. Carefully he leaned over and kissed me. Without stopping he picked me up and carried me over to the couch where he gently laid me down again. His hands started to wander down my body and while the playlist continued we got completely lost in each other.

I woke up and squinted my eyes at the bright light that the sun sent through the windows. Jungkook was still breathing calmly next to me, his arms wrapped around me tightly. I still felt as happy and wholesome as the day before. I brushed back his hair and softly kissed his nose. Then I carefully unwrapped myself and went over to the kitchen to prepare a luxurious breakfast for us. Cino showed up around me and I stealthily fed him a bit as suddenly somebody's arms wrapped around me again. "Good morning, sunshine", I smiled and looked into Jungkook's sleepy face that showed up next to me. "Happy anniversary", I added and kissed his cheek. "Come back to bed", he muttered tired, "I can't sleep properly without you." "Aww, cutie", I grinned. In contrast to him, I was a morning person. He glared at me. I knew he hated to be cute. I laughed. "I'll be there in a second, ok?", I said. He raised an eyebrow, seemingly he didn't believe me. "Let me finish preparing breakfast first, ok?" He grunted but then nodded. I watched him trotting back to the living room and smiled. Then I yelled after him: "Oh, and we slept on the couch tonight. So, I guess I should come back to there then!" As an answer I heard a noise and decided that I could take this as a yes. I quickly pulled out a tray and put fruits, bread, jam and coffee on it. Then I hurried back to him, only to find him dozing off again. I smiled and slid under the blanket, cuddling up to him. "Better", he murmured and hugged me. I was about to say something but decided to just enjoy this moment.

Twenty minutes later he was at least sitting and slurping on his cup of coffee. He watched my every movement satisfied and I couldn't concentrate. "What is it?", I finally asked. "You know how beautiful you are?", he asked back. I blushed. "Hey, baby?", he continued. "Hmm?" "Could you go into the hallway and look through the pockets of my leather jacket?" I looked at him confused: "Why?" "Surprise", he answered. Shaking my head, I went over to the hallway. I put my hand in the left pocket and immediately felt something. I pulled it out. It was a tiny, fragile looking flower, simply but artistically made out of wires. I admired it for some time until I realized that JK probably was waiting for me. When I came back though a big bouquet of roses stood on the table and my boyfriend sat on the couch next to them. He held something else in his hands. I tilted my head but before I could ask, he motioned me to come over. I sat down next to him and he held a little box towards me. "Happy anniversary", he said proudly. Shyly I took it out of his hands and curiously opened it. My jaw dropped as I saw his present and amazed I looked up to him. "They will fit you perfectly", he smiled. I took out the small, delicate looking rose-shaped earrings. "Are they...", I started but he already nodded. "They and the necklace were actually a set", he grinned. I touched the necklace carefully. "They are so beautiful", I whispered in awe. Jungkook giggled and lifted my chin. "Just like you" he said and kissed me.

"I also have something for you", I said after we pulled away and stood up. I walked over to my secret hiding place. "It's not that special but...", I said shyly and paused shortly, "It's made with love." I took out the small rectangle-shaped gift and walked back to him. Carefully he took it out of my hands and unwrapped it. His face lit up as he saw it. "It's perfect", he said and opened the small book in which I had glued photos of us or written in memories that I had assembled over the time. We went through it together and laughed or reminisced everything when suddenly the doorbell rang. We looked at each other confused. We didn't invite anyone today. Shrugging my shoulders, I got up. It had been a silent agreement between us that I always opened the door when we didn't know who it was instead of the world-famous idol that he was. I peeked at the webcam, but I couldn't see anyone. Carefully I opened now and got even more confused. There was no one. But then I saw the boxes in front of me. It was smelling incredibly good. "Who is it?", I heard JK asking and soon after he stood behind me. I picked up one of the boxes and smiled as I read the note attached to it. I knew the writing. "Just a little surprise for the anniversary-couple. Enjoy Yoongi's and Jin's cooking and the rest that was poorly made by us amateurs." Leo and the boys had all signed. I turned around to Jungkook. "We have the best friends ever", I sighed. "No", he disagreed, "the best family ever."

The food was delicious – but what else was there to expect? I had barely noticed that it already was lunch time. The rest of the day we spent lazily on the couch or walking around in the garden, just enjoying every second. Surprisingly enough, the other days weren't that different. It was like we were on vacation at home and fall slowly showed its various sides. One day the sun shone brightly and we worked in the garden or enjoyed lying on the terrace and the next day it was foggy and we watched movies, wrapped in blankets with a cup of hot drinks in our hands. Sometimes I was working outside or joining Jungkook in his daily workout – which always resulted in me giving up way earlier than him and then just enjoying the view – and sometimes I met up with Leo or the boys. It was a very relaxing time.
