Chapter 29

"Mom?" You questioned softly. Your body aching from the days healing treatment.

"What is it darling?" She hummed as she clipped the wrap back around your chest and then moved to stand on her feet.

"I never asked you what went down with the league of vampires. The only member that I've heard about in months is Dabi." You said and looked up towards her. Her eyes casting back towards you as she moved to run the back of her neck.

"Well, it was really just something we did off the top of our heads." She admitted and crossed her arms. "But I guess I can explain it too you."

"Bakugo, we need to hurry." Todoroki said as him and Kirishima looked back towards the rather pale looking ash blond. His face devoid of emotion other than the gleam of pain in his eyes. He had just lost your bond. The pain was still hindering him from moving so much. That was until he felt a hand upon his back that pushed him forward a bit.

"Looks like you boys are having trouble." A silky smooth feminine voice called out. Bakugo turned to face it surprised at how the pain he was feeling was suddenly void from his body. "Dont worry. I'm here to help." The women hummed with a smile.

"Yeah? And who the hell are you?" Bakugo growled only to feel Deku grab his arm and tight him back a bit. "GET THE HELL OFF ME DEKU!?"

"Kachan wait!" He called out and shook his head.

"Wow, I hadn't thought it had been that long. Nice to know at least someone remembers me." The women said nodding towards the green haired boy. "I'm Marceline L/n. Your former bonds mother." She said looking down at the vampire being she was pretty tall herself.

"You're Y/n's-?"

"We'll skip the details for now. We have more pressing matters to attend." She said and pushed past the group that had come together. "Right now we need to get my child back." She said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Right, but how do you plan to do that?" Midoryia would ask as he joined your mother in her brisk walking pace.

"You boys just show up I'll do the rest." She said giving them a smile as she kneels a bit of blue electricity sweeping her body and popping around her heels a she dashes off towards the hide out. Her speed making her almost invisible to the untrained eye.

"That's just fucking great." Bakugo grumbled as he rolled his eyes and got into the car with the rest of the boys. Pain still tingling through his body from the breaking of the bond. Though it wasn't nearly as bad as it was before.

"Seeing how shes a witch this could actually prove to be a very good thing. We could probably fend off the league allot easier now." Midoryia began to mumble to himself as he sat in the back seat with Bakugo. Todoroki in the driver's seat and Kirishima in the passenger side.

"Shut the hell up Deku!" Bakugo grumbled to himself and crossed his arms as the car started with a jerk and took off passing way over the speed limit.

"He's got a point Bakugo. I heard hat witches can become so much stronger than Vampires. I mean they did make us after all." Kirishima interjected earning a scoff from the ash blond.

"Dont group me in with you losers." Bakugo growled, causing the rest of them to roll their eyes slightly. They were used to this kind of treatment from the explosive vampire.

As the car came to a stop Bakugo found himself the first one out of the car. His feet smacking against the asphalt as he ran into the building head on. The rest of the group yelling at him to wait up. Smoke had already began to swell and curl around the edges of the doors and windows. It was clear that a fire had started at the old run down bar. Though none of them were quite sure what caused it.
