You stood outside the cafe the wind tickling at your skin and making you smile softly. The wind always seemed to follow you now. It felt like a new companion a new friend..

"Y/n!" You look down from the sky and towards the brunette running towards you. Her hair a bit wind blown from running down the busy streets, you once called home. Her chocolate eyes fixated onto you as she slowed down to a stop.

"Sorry, I got here so late! Mom kept asking me questions about where I was going and who I was meeting up with." She managed to say between her breathy pants. "She's been real uptight lately."

"You're good. I had Bakugo drop me off about five minutes ago." You said and untucked your hands from your coat pockets. It was still a bit chilly out, but the weather had begun to warm up just a bit.

"Oh good. Let's go in and grab some coffee." She said and ran her fingers through her messy brown hair. In all honesty she was just glad to no longer be running. She had ran all the way here, trying not to be late. Though it seemed her efforts were fruitless against time.

"Wait." You grabbed onto her arm and pulled her close to you. Your arms wrapping around her tightly, no matter how sore your body was. You hadn't seen her in weeks and you just... missed her. She had grown up with you since elementary and to go so long without speaking did worry you quite a bit.

You could feel her jolt by your action, but nevertheless slowly melted into you. Her arms moving to surround your waist, avoiding your upper body as she was sure it was still hurting. "I missed you too." The female said slowly into your shoulder. Her voice sounding a bit shaken as her grips tightened just a tad.

As you retreated from the hug you couldn't help, but to smile at her. Your eyes a bit watery from the emotions whelming up inside of you. "Alright, lets get some coffee!" You cheered and reached up wiping your watery eyes with a smile.

"Yes! Coffee!" Uraraka cheered back as you both made your way into the shop.

"Yeah, so she thinks I'm doing drugs now." Uraraka says watching you laugh at her distress. "I told her I wasn't, but she doesn't believe me. She said that any girl who left without saying anything and comes back bruised up has something to do with drugs and gang violence." Uraraka sighed with a small smile. As she was unable to feel agitated as you were laughing.

"Wow, your mom really jumped the gun on that one." You snickered and leaned back in your chair. Your hand gripping your cup of coffee as you laughed.

"That's what I'm saying. I told her the same thing you did and that I had accidentally fallen down some stairs and she just doesn't believe a word I say."

"That's Mrs. Uraraka for you." You smiled and took a sip of your coffee. The liquid a mixture of bitter sweet flavor along with chestnut. "Speaking of which, what did you decide to do about the whole situation?" You asked rather cautiously, hoping not to step over any boundaries.

"Well..." Uraraka started and reached up tucking a piece of her brown hair behind her ear. "You remember Mina, right?"

"No fucking way."

"Yes fucking way." Uraraka said and took a sip of her own beverage. "There is no way I could ever not be your friend. If bounding with Mina will make that possible then I'll do what I have to do." She said and tilted her eyes off towards the side. "You're my best friend."
