After Bakugo had dropped you off at your house, you sighed a bit happy to finally be home. Things would be a little normal now. Walking over to the door you place your hand on the door handle without thinking and push the door open. "I'm home!" You yelled as you walk in and look around. The place looked to be empty. Which was weird, because your dad's car was still in the drive.
"Dad!" You yell and make your way towards the livingroom seeing no one there. You sighed and shook your head. His late night shifts probably wore him out. He was probably crashed in his bed, so instead of having the usual scolding you quietly made your way to your bedroom and scowled seeing the door was open.
"Damn it, Crowley." You mutter your younger brother's name as you throw your bag besides your door and throw open his. "What'd I tell you about going in my room-?!" You yelled only to inhale heavily. The sight in front of you causing your chest to shake. You moved your hand off the handle only to feel something wet and slightly sticky grip the edges of your skin. Blood. It was everywhere. All over your brother's messy room and the mattress that laid sideways on the bed frame.
"C-Crowley?" You asked softly, offering your presence out to him, hoping he might respond. Though there was nothing. Only the sound of deafening horror and disbelief. Your brother was no where to be found in the room, but with the amount of blood everywhere he was bound to be dead or close to it.
You backed away from the room and bolted towards your father's, ignoring the sudden tugging at your arm. You kicked his door open and cover your mouth. The stench of metallic pricking at your nostrils as you backed away. The realization finally hitting you as silent tears poured down your face. They were dead and you couldn't save them.
"Dumbass, don't look." The sound of your blood bound partner says from behind you as he places his hands firmly over your eyes. His tone a lot softer than usual. It must've been the one he used whenever he tried to console people, though you could see through the fake consolation. You knew he didn't really care about your family or if they died or lived, but still you found yourself comforted by his presence. Just knowing that he was there to stand strong for you when you knew you couldn't was more than you needed right then: in that moment your life was changed forever.

"Bakugo?" You questioned softly as you leaned forward on your knees. The sound of Bakugo's car drowning out any thoughts you might have had of that awful interrogation. "I thought you left. How did you know too be there?" You questioned and looked up to the ash blond. His crimson eyes slowly drifting from the road to your broken figure. Then to your wrists.
"Because we're bound to each other." He says and points to the bite mark on your wrist. "It hints me in whenever you're distressed or in danger." He says and looks back to the road, so you didn't join your family in the afterlife.
"Oh," you say softly and run your thumb over the bite mark. "I forgot about this." You would say and feel a wash of dread flow over you as you remebered that night.
"No, it wasn't Todoroki." Bakugo said bluntly as he read your mind. You guessed the bond clues him in on that too, but you didn't really mind it too much. You didn't feel like talking anyway. You glanced back over to Bakugo, his hands clasped tightly against the steering wheel, the white of his knuckles showing as he punched the gas on his Corvette. He was angry that much you could tell, but it wasn't like all the other times he was angry. This time you knew he was serious. You could practically feel the raw hatred radiating off of him. Luckily, you also knew it wasn't directed at you.
As you pulled into a familiar driveway your eyebrows furrowed a bit, but never the less you felt a tiny bit relieved. You needed your best friend right now and there he was standing in the front porch with slight tears in his eyes as he waited for you.
"Go." Bakugo said to you as his eyes of hate and disgust turned to you. It made your stomach churn just thinking about who that could be targeted towards.
You didn't argue back with the ash-blond as you looked up to the porch where Midoryia stood. You could tell he was getting more worried as he stood on his tippy toes to look at the two of you. "Thank you, Bakugo." You said softly as you got out of his car. Only to jump back a bit whenever he sped off.
"Y/n!" Midoryia ran over to you as soon as Bakugo was out of the driveway. His arms instantly wrapping around you. "I'm so sorry for what happened." He cried and held you tighter. You knew that you should console him back, but you were just so drained from crying and trying to figure out who would do this to your family that you just stood there and let your friend hug you.

As the night passes on, you just laid your head in Izuku's lap as he twirled pieces of your hair between his fingers. You brain still not fully wrapping around the fact that your family was gone. The mental image of your father's dead and bloodied corpse flashing in your mine, causing your body to flinch up with fear.
"Y/n..." Your friends voice would break through the silence as you looked up to his softened green eyes. "You need to eat something. You haven't eaten since you've gotten here at 2PM." He pauses and brushes his fingers under your sore eyes, to wipe away the tears whelming up again. "Its 12 in the morning." He finished.
"I just haven't been hungry." You say and grab his hand and hold it in your own. You appreciated all the love you had gotten from him. He was always sensitive to your needs and it helped calm your nerves allot.
"Please just try to eat or at least drink something." He continued and squeezed your hand gently. He really did care about you and he only hoped you cared about yourself in the same way.
"Okay." You reply dryly and sit up, letting go of his hand in the process. You rub the tears out of your eyes and stand up. "I'll just go grab something out the fridge." You say and begin to make your way to the kitchen despite Izuku's calling out. He wanted to fetch you the food so you could rest, but you really didn't mind. You were just going to eat a snack anyway. A go-gurt. Perfect.
"I was going to make you something." Izuku said as he entered the kitchen and saw you already slurping on the snack. "But I guess that works too." He said with a gentle smile. As long as you were eating something he wouldn't complain. He just didn't want you to starve yourself. He hated seeing someone he loved just wither away before his eyes. It made his heart ache.
"This is good." You said blankly and finished it up, throwing the trash into the trash can.
"Okay, but it's late. Let's try to sleep." He said and ruffled your hair a bit. "If you can't just nudge me and we can watch a movie or something." He said with a gentle smile, causing you to just nod. You didn't feel very talkative, but just having him here with you made you feel better. You knew as long as he was around it would be okay, because he could make it okay.
