Girls

After I escaped from everyone, I decided to try and find my dorm.  I climbed up many stairs had to read many signs, but I finally got to my dorm.

I opened the door to see a room split exactly in half. One half was plain and bare, whereas the other half was a mess of colors, all vibrant and insane. On the bed in the colored half sat a girl with dirty blonde hair. As I walked in, she turned, reveling her pretty blue eyes.

"Oh, your the new girl. Hi. I'm Kala." She looked down at her lap where a skecthpad lay.

"I'm Aphmau, but most people call me Aph." I stuck out my hand, a huge grin on my face.

Kala grasped my hand firmly and pulled me on the bed, flopping back down herself. She laughed as I gasped for breath.

"So Aph, what brings you to our school? I myself am here to study everyone else to make my art go to the next level." She pointed up at the celing where there were a bunch of paintings of varouis students completing tasks.

"I am actually here on a scholarship. I took an intrest into Extra Utilites and the new food System Pam Harvest develped." I scanned the many pictured until my gaze settled on one where Kala was hugging a boy with messy black hair. "Hey Kala? Who is that guy?"

"That's Sly, my boyfriend. He also comes here. I'll introduce you to him later." She sighed, then jumped up. "Well, lets get cracking! You gotta unpack and I will finally be able to paint the other side of the room. What colors do you like?"

"Err... shouldn't I-"

"Aphmau, you need to unpack. And besides, would your really want my talants to go to waste?" Kala pursed her lips, giving me the eye.

I laughed, giving in. "Purples, please. Oh and maybe you can do what you did when I get pictures, ya know, paint them above my head."

"Is that a challenge?" She gripped her paint brush tightly and began to make soft curls all over my walls as I unpacked my stuff and put them in drawers.

A few hours later, we had finished.

"Well, I don't think that can get much better." I admired the beautiful swirls and curls Kala had created on my walls.

Suddenly, a loud knock echoed throughout the room.

"Kala? You in here?" A head peeked in, checking the room for life. As his eyes  reached Kala and me, a wide smile broke out on his face. "Kala! Your rooming with the new student!" He entered our room, letting the door slowly close behind him.

"Yeah. Her names Aph." The couple hugged, then turned to face me.

"So Aphmau, what has brought you to our wonderful school?" His voice had a stange accent to it, but I couldn't pin it down.

"I am actually a scholarship student here. I  did the best at my old school and I guess they all thought I was worthy."  

"Well, no shit! Most of us, we are the children of the rich and famous. You've met Sky, right? Well, his papa is one of the biggest gold mining comanies in all of MineCraft."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I actually heard he is  engaged to this girl named Dawn. Anyways, lets go to dinner. There are still so many people you have to meet!" Kala and Sly grabbed my wrist, pulling me off towards the new people in my life.
