Mine High

First Day

The mist wasn't gray as it usually was. It had become an odd green color, like in horror movies. Our herione walked through it, attempting to find someone she knew. Suddenly, something gasped her, stopping her from moving.

"What the hell! Let me go!"

"NO!! YOU HURT ME, YOU BOTH HURT  ME!"

Aphmau was lifted up high  in the air, then rushed downward once again untill-

Sky's POV

I walked down the long hallway, Deadlox by my side.

"Why are we up here like, two hours before school starts Sky?" he yawned, strechting his arms.

"I'm here to show Aph where all her classes are. I'm her tour guide, remember? As for yourself Deadlox, I have no idea why you tagged along."

Whatever, lets just get this ove-"

"NONONONONO AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Deadlox ran down the hall. "That was Aphmau!"

We ran to her dorm and Deadlox kicked the door open, reveling a very odd sight.

One of the girls, Kala I think was her name, was sitting on a bed with purple bed sheets in a tank top and some sweats. In her arms was Aphmau, sobbing. She was wearing a t-shirt and some shorts. Her black hair was messed up like she had just woken up.

"Oh. Hey guys." Kala waved us in.  "She had a really, really bad nightmare."

Deadlox pulled a face. He was younger than me by almost two years and very childish, but at least he was holding back his stupid remark.

"Its just... the voice..." Aphmau slowly moved away from Kala, curling up in a little ball. "The voice in my dream... it sounded like Satiel's."

"The guy with the blue hat? What did he say?" I walked over to her bed, sitting down. Deadlox began to try to fix the door.

"That... we both hurt him. Then something was holding me brought me up then smacked me down... It hurt.... it hurt so bad..." She looked up at me, tears in her eyes. "What does it mean?"

I pulled her in for a hug. "Your probably just nervous because your in a new situat-"

"The HELL?"

"Oh, not you," I heard Kala sigh. Aphmau and I turned around quickly.

Standing at the doorway was a girl with pink and blue hair cut short. Her eyes were two diffrent colora, one blue and one green.

"Dawn! What are you doing up so early?" Deadlox attempted to cover me and Aph.

 

"She woke me up. And as for you, ADAM, what are you doing, feeling her up?"

I stood up, crossing over to where my girlfriend stood. "Dawn, I was just hugging her! Damn, you get mad even if I just bump into  a girl! You know what, I'm not even  doing this right now." I closed the door in her face.

"Sky, I'm sorr-"

"Its okay. Dawn has always been like that. But thats not the point! Deadlox and myself are going to show you were all your classes are! Yay!" I threw my arm over Deadlox's shoulders ("dont do dis!!") and messed up his hair.

About twenty minutes later, we were roaming the school, doing our very best to locate all of our female compaion's classes.

"... First...Crafting 101," Aphmau yawned, rubbing her eyes.

"Oh awesome. That's our first period too." Deadlox peered over Aph's shoulder. "Actually, you have most of the classes we have. Execpt Last. We have Hadcore Parkour and you have... Extra Untilities?"

"Well yeah. Thats kinda how I got my scholarship."

"Oh, your one of those majors. I'm at this school to learn about ways I can advance TNT."

I laughed loudly, exaggerating the ha's. "Typical Ty-"

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT, BIT-"

"Anyways... I'm actually here for a really weird reason. You know how over time, people have developed Modulaters, or Mods, to make life easier? I am here to learn more about them. And maybe even make my own. The butter mod!"

"Butter?"  Aphmau cocked her head in curiosity.

"Oh. Thats what I call gold, because gold kinda looks like butter. So I'll make a mod so that you can actually eat it and whatever you crafted with it. Gold is weak enough.."

"So making it edible will help?" Ty crossed his arms, lifting an eyebrow.

"Yes."

Aphmau laughed, throwing her head back wildly. I joined her, copying her.

"You guys are crazy." Deadlox grabbed her forearm and dragged her down the hall to her next class.
