"I'm going to spend the rest of my life with Y/N, I know it," you hear in the kitchen.

Carol had came over to visit and you went upstairs to get ready for the day when she came in. Everyone had a quick coffee and you began to get ready. Once you were showered and dressed, you queitly walked down the stairs and saw the door to the kitchen was cracked open. Carol was sitting on one of the dining seats and Abby leaned agaisnt the kitchen counter. She looked so peaceful and beautiful and she wasn't even doing anything.

"Everything they do is just cute and I can't imagine life without. It's the little things that count really, the waking up before me to make me breakfast, washing the dishes, the most amazing and incredible hugs ever," she goes on to ramble about her love for you. A large smile creeps up onto your face as you continue to listen.

"Abby, I have Therese now and I am truely happy that you have someone too. Everyone deserves someone," Carol takes a sip from her coffee and sets it back down onto the table. Abby smiles and responds, "Thank you Carol, I'm glad you have someone too." After a few minutes of them talking about nothing, you push the door and walk into the kitchen. Abby's face immediatly lights up. "You ready to go sweetheart?" "All ready, just need to put on my shoes and a cup of coffee," you say smiling back at her.

You put your shoes on and begin to make your coffee, Abby standing next to you. You reach up in the cupboard to grab the coffee granuals and pour them into your cup, as well as a little bit of sugar. Abby watches you contently, never taking her eyes off of you. The water is finally boiled and you pour it into the cup, stirring it. Abby places her hand on your shoulder and lightly rubs it. You pick up your coffee and lean into your girlfriends embrace.

Carol continues to talk about whatever she was talking about when you finished up your coffee and washed out the cup. "See?" Abby said to Carol and smirked. "Huh?", you said, pretending not to know what she is talking about. "Nothing baby," she smiles again and looks away.

After washing up, Carol leaves the house and waits for you and Abby outside. "Come on Y/N, let go sweetheart," she places her hand on your lowerback as you walk out. "And by the way Abby, I love you too," you whisper to her as you walk past. She grabs your hand and pulls you in for a passionate kiss but delicate. "Wait were you? Oh god, you were listening to the conversation between me and Carol weren't you?", she nervously smiles. "I heard everything baby, now come on, lets get in the car. Carol's waiting," you remind her and she locks the door behind the both of you.

That was the first time you had ever said 'I love you' to eachother.
