Recently, you weren't having a great time. There wasn't even a particular reason for it. But you wouldn't tell Wilhemina. You didn't want to make her worried. So you kept it all in.

"I'm home," you shout, as you walk through the front door. Wilhemina is in the kitchen, looking at you as you walk in. She had her comfy clothes on: a cosy, knitted sweater and some sweatpants. Her hair was loose around her shoulders, shiny in the warm lights. "Hey sweetheart, how was your day," she asks, walking over towards you. She grabs your bag from your hands and places it down near the door. Her hands reach around your shoulders and then takes off your coat. You softly smile, loving the little things she does. "It was okay, I'm so exhausted though," you confess. Her arms wrap around your waist. She turns you around, leaning in to kiss you. "I've noticed," she whispers and kisses again. You felt so bad. "But I have something that will cheer you up," she slowly and unwillingly detaches from you. You quirk an eyebrow, curious at what she has in store.

Wilhelmina opens the oven, pulling out a pan. She places it on the bench. "Pasta!" She exclaims, rummaging through the draws to find a serving spoon. You immediately smile, knowing she made you this to make you feel better. "It smells so good," you inhale. "Mhmm, it does. It smells so good because I made it," she giggles and places some pasta into a dish.

Moments later, the pasta had been demolished and you and Wilhemina were laying on the couch; her sitting up and you with your head in her lap. The two of you sat, deep in conversation. Wilhemina's hands, raked through your hair. "You know if there's anything on your mind. Anything. You can talk to me about it," she abruptly says, looking at you. Your eyes open, surprised at the sentence. "I know," you answer back quietly. "It's just that you've been really quiet lately," she softly says. "Yeah, I know. I'm sorry. It's just that work has been really overwhelming and exhausting right now," you sigh. "Oh baby, you could've just said," she cradles you. "You can tell me anything, and I promise not to judge," she leans down, placing a kiss on the top of your head.
