Ever since Ivy died, Ally needed someone to go to, someone who wouldnt judge her and take care of her. Most of the time at work, she wasn't her usual self, so every now and again you checked up on her. After a few months, Ally accepted that someone was actually trying to take care of her. She started having lunch with you everyday at work, sometimes even going on lunch dates. Ally knew you were special and wanted to keep you.

It was Wednesday, you had picked Ozzy up from school and came straight home. As soon as you got in the house, Ozzy asked, "should we cook something? Maybe mommy could have some when she comes home." "There's nothing I would love more" you smile at him and find one of Ally's recipes. "How about some cake?", you ask him, pointing to the cake in the book. "Yes! Lets make cake," he excitedly jumps up and down. "Okay, you go wash your hands, I'll get all the ingredients," you say to him.

Within 20 minutes, the kitchen was a mess. There was flour all over, including you and Oz; and scattered bits of cake mixture on the counter. Hopefully you can get it in the oven before Ally gets back. As you pour the cake mixture into the baking tin, you see Ally standing in the doorway, leaning agaisnt the frame. "And what's going on in here?", she asks, arms crossed. You and Oz stand still, you lean down to his ear and whisper "If you stay still, she won't see us." "I can hear you," she laughs and walks into the kitchen. "Oooo cake," she cooes, scooping some batter up with her finger. "No mom, you're not allowed to eat it before its done," Ozzy scolds her, and she steps back. She leans forward into you, giving a light kiss to your lips. "I'm going to put my pyjamas on," she announces and leaves the room.

As Ally is walking up the stairs, she thinks to herself how lucky she is. How someone actually cared for her, unlike her ex wife. Then she thinks about Oz, and how much he loves you. She sighs in relief and puts her pyjamas on. She thinks about how much you helped her with her fears and how you never judged her. No matter the circumstance, you were always there for her.

Ally comes back downstairs to see the cake is in the oven and Oz and you were sitting on the stools. Somehow the whole kitchen was cleaned up. "How on earth did you clean this up so fast?", she laughs and grabs a glass from the cupboard, filling it with water. "Because Oz and I are the best cleaners, isn't that right?", you look at Oz and pull him into your embrace. Ally definitely made the right choice.
