A WALK INTO TERROR

DAEGU

"do you want me to get you something else," yoongi asked for the third time since Yuan got herself the smallest plate of chips and fish available at the dinky little restaurant that yoongi had brought her to.

"I am fine with this yoongi."

"Are you even human what do eat for a living huh." yoongi whisper yelled trying his best to hide the anger building up inside him.

Yuan was caught off guard by yoongi's sudden question that nervousness made its way into her head as she played with the fork in her hands looking down at her plate trying to hide from yoongi's intimidating stare.

"bread.." a meek whisper was all that Yuan could muster the response in itself felt like she assuring herself more than and answering yoongi's question.

"do you get yourself enough bread to keep yourself going for the whole day." the sarcasm smeared with concern emphasized wholly on the word bread.

After what felt like an eternity the girl looked up straight into yoongi's eyes, a glare with a minute trace of melancholy penetrating into the guy's eyes.

" you don't really have to worry about me." for a second her glare reduces to a pure melancholic stare before yuan averted her eyes to her plate.

"yuan you need to care for yo-" yoongi's words were cut off by yuan.

"stop worrying about me, appearing out of nowhere after three fucking years yoongi!" with that said yuan marched out of the small shop in short heavy steps.

Yoongi pov:

she was hurt ...and it was my fault.

I collected our stuff and walked out the way yuan had gone. standing on the pathway I saw her thin figure walking away with her head down. she was extremely petite that just a strong wind could be enough to carry her away.

"yuan I am sorry but please listen to me." yoongi caught up to yuan with ease.

"yuan-ah will you promise me something." yuan halted looking into my eyes with an innocently intriguing look.

"yoongi-"

"Yuan promise me that you will let me take care of you from now." I tried to look as sincere as possible.

"I- huh...fine." yuan looked up at me defeated.

after all ....what yoongi wants yoongi gets...

Author pov:

"walk with me for some time there is a park nearby." yoongi asked yuan with an expectant look only to be disappointed by her response.

"I need to work my shift at the cafe near my house. " Yuan  muttered loud enough for yoongi to catch it.

"oh come on honey, take a day off for me pls." yoongi's signature gummy smile had always been one of Yuans's biggest weaknesses since the day she met the cryptic fellow who was now standing in front of her.

Yuan gave him a 'nice but not great' kinda look before slipping her thin fingers into the Jean pockets to fetch her phone out.

Over the phone.

.... "hey judy can I take a day off, got to hang out with a friend of mine."

"take a week off darling and treat them well it's not everyday that I see u getting friends, have fun!"

"huh, yeah thanks judy, will make it up to you in the next week."

End of conversation...

"I see my girl's been working her head off for a long time now." yoongi raised a brow teasing Yuan with a smirk.
