HIDE DONT SEEK
Jimin's pov :
The blue hues highlighting the sides of her face made it dimly glow as I focused on those glassy orbs that were trying to convey something not very clear but also not very pleasant. At that very moment, all I wanted was to embrace her help that trembling body to calm down with all the warmth I could lend and nothing more.
"are you okay?" I take a step forward only for her to flinch and stumble back. I retreated realising she was indeed in a bad state. But seeing that lone tear fall down her red cheeks caused a painfull tug at my chest. What on earth did she do for me to have so many reactions at the same time.
Maybe she reminded me of blare, but that didn't make it any better, perhaps worse cause the very thought brought not pain but numbness. Maybe it was her acting up at college for me earlier. That didn't make sense.
Nevertheless, I let the moment of silence invade us, a cool breeze sweeping away her hair and drying her tears for me. With every second I realised minute details of her face but my vision got blocked by a man short by few inches standing in front facing her now. He murmured incoherent sentences that didn't reach my audition but once he turned I got a full view of his face and the expression he had. Definitely not a pleasant one.
"what did you do?" my eyes went wide at the accusation. He couldn't possibly fight me for merely looking at her and he definitely looked like he was ready to pounce on me.
"Excuse me, but i was just trying to help."
"Suga, can we leave?" Yuan had her head cast down and her fingers gripping the guy's sleeve loosely.
"Yuan, what happened?" She looked into his eyes a meaningful gaze now directed right into his irises. It was clear she wanted to get this over with and this was just stalling the moment for no apparent reason.
"Hey, just take her-"
"Shut up." I tried but he was not listening.
"Suga, let's leave for god's sake!" Yuan whisper yelled tugging harder on to the guy's satin shirt ready to escape the situation that very second. She kept stealing noticeable glances in my direction to which I raised a question brow.
"fine, come." with a glare in my direction both of them walked away leaving me welling up with curiosity. Was that her boyfriend if so why was he being so rude and overbearing.
"you wanna get a drink, handsome." I scrunched my face up at the high pitched voice seeping into my ears. A girl wearing a tight red body on that seemed to fit her two sizes small exposing her smooth long legs and perfect chest line blinked her fake lashes waiting for me to accept. But my eye caught a familiar blue head walking past the red curtains hastily fixing one of his buttons.
"sorry I'm gay." I lied and made my way towards the stairs right in time to bump into his hard chest.
"ouh," I knew he was well built and in shape but hadn't expected him to have a hard rock chest that it hurt to bump into him. I winced at the impact and eyed him murmuring an apology while his eyes went wide. The guy seemed nothing like I'd imagined him to be, cold, stubborn, malicious and egoistic.
"Are you hurt?" He seemed genuinely shocked at my pained expression that he closed the proximity between us and tried helping me. I moved away in impulse rubbing my chest as took in his appearance from such a close distance. He stood up to the descriptions from his file.
Handsome, gentle, beautiful.
Player. If only I were gay, he'd definitely have been my type. I suppressed the urge to throw up at my own idea and spoke before he could leave.
"you wanna join me for a drink?"
"huh?"
"a drink I didn't come here with anyone. I assume you didn't too?" I stole a glance at the curtains he'd earlier emerged from where now a girl appeared fixing her hair in a rush. She must be one of his dolls, a call and she'd be on her knees for him, well who wouldn't when a man like him willingly gave them what they wanted.
"yeah, fine. Come on then."
"a Tom Collins would do, got college tomorrow." his deep voice seeped into my ears despite the rock music playing in the background."college?"
"HYU, can't skip tomorrow's class." he said it in all seriousness, his dull eyes fixed on the drink in front of him.
"architecture, what about you?" I led the conversation on to see if I had a chance to meet him more during school.
"oh, microbiology," his Adam's apple bobbed as he sipped the drink now fully lost in it's taste. Maybe the session he'd walked out from earlier exhausted him. I smirked involuntarily at the thought.
"oof."
"doesn't suck much like you think." I'd voiced my disapproval aloud by mistake. He thought I was judging him for taking such a difficult subject. Well, I had nothing against microbiology just the fact that I'd get very little opportunities to meet him on a daily basis, but he didn't have to know that.
"meet you at school then? Try to come for lunch." with that I paid the bills and waved him a goodbye before leaving quietly. I'd done what I came for but I was also going home with several other questions in my head.

"hey, how are you feeling." yoongi careful spelt his words in order not to get on the girl's nerves, beside him. It was never a beautiful sight.
"What happened right there?" yuan's voice was stiff and she had her eyes trained on the road ahead, from the corner of his sight yoongi observed and gulped.
"I think they are back again." the evening
"who yoongi?"
"I'd tell you but please don't freak out.""spill the shit already." yoongi sighed preparing his mind to blurt out whatever was eating away his head.
"The Kim's men. They were always in and around the orphan home behind you. I thought they'd give up after you escaped. Because I thought I made sure of it. But they are somehow back, out of nowhere." yoongi slowed down to a stop at a signal as he completely turned to look at yuan hugging herself in instinct at the mention of her father.
Mr. Kim, the man she'd run away from leaving her mother to rot within his hell. He was the red monster of her terrible nightmares and the sole source of her self deprecating habits. The reason she existed and the very reason she'd been dying every day within the parched walls of that orphanage. She was no orphan to be brought up at an orphanage yet she'd lived the worst days inside the he'll hole. Yoongi being sole witness of her deteriorating every minute.
"What should I do."
"nothing just live, yuan I don't want you to breath in fear every minute anymore. No, I want you to live, breath and... Smile." yoongi thought of the last time she'd smiled properly—the day they met.
"I'll take care of them." yoongi let out solemnly, before driving again back home.
A/n : okay so jimin's encounter with Taehyung might seem unnatural IRL cause a shoulder bump wouldn't hurt much in reality like I've written. But i got a reason to writing it that way. Jimin is very weak and unhealthy atm in the story without proper purpose or mental stability that's effecting his physical health as well hence the exaggerated writing. Hopefully it's not contradictory or irrelevant.
