As I walked through the red huge gates of my new alma mater, I realised how much I missed my hometown. My friend Shelly's sister, Olivia was one of the firsts to leave the village and came back with a lot of gossips. So, before I left the village I was rained down with suggestions which I chose to ignore.

In Oklahoma there were quite a few Majestic buildings but this piece of architecture right before me made my neck hair stand up with its elaborate towers and steeples, gardens and lawns, fountains and gates. The buildings stood out than the rest of the city, the letters on the top of the tallest dome announced 'Foreister's Institute of Literature', without which it would have passed for an elegant British castle. I took a deep breath as I walked through the gate. The big board in the front announcing 'Warm Welcome' certainly did make me feel warm.

Dragging my suitcase in one hand I showed my identity card to the person in the front desk, when someone tapped my shoulder.

He had curly short brown hair, looked kinda Mexican. His wide mischievous grin showed that he had a crazy sense of humour. You could tell he wanted to look attractive to other girls, but looked cute and warm instead. I knew I could trust this guy despite his creepy personality. His dress, well you could call him an aesthetic for the colour brown.

"Newbie?", the stranger enquired.

"Yes. I'm Piper McLean, department of French", I answered.

"Ditto! "

"What!?"

"No, I meant the French department part."

"Oh okay. What's your name?"

"Leo Valdez. The girls call me Bad boy supreme", he winked.
