06. Little Present

"Byeol... watch out..." Beomgyu shouted and tried to catch Byeol. But they both fell together into that hole.

When Beomgyu opened his eyes, he saw Byeol right above him, Beomgyu's hand still holding Byeol's body tight, "Byeol are you alright?" Beomgyu immediately woke up and checked Byeol's condition.

"You fool... why did you catch me and fall into this hole with me? Your body must be hurt." Byeol looks upset because Beomgyu is using his body to protect her.

"I'm fine. Now how can we get out of this hole?" Beomgyu question made Byeol stand up immediately and s she looks confused, think of a way out of that hole. Byeol then starts screaming for help. But like nobody heard her voice.

Byeol stopped screaming, felt the attempt was futile. Then she sat with her head down. Beomgyu who's been watching Byeol, worried about Byeol's condition. Beomgyu started screaming, trying to ask for help. But still no answer. He finally sat next to Byeol, trying to calm down Byeol. But suddenly hear Byeol sing a song. The same song as Beomgyu first saw Byeol in the tree back then. When hearing the song, Beomgyu's anxiety was gone and he calmed down. He's looking at Byeol, and Byeol 1 is already looking calm.

"Jung Byeol" They hear someone screaming from above making Byeol and Beomgyu rise straight from their seats. And they saw someone standing near the hole looking into the hole, it was Soobin.

"Byeol-ah, wait there. I'll find something to get you out." Soobin immediately went to find something to get them out. Soon Soobin back with the ladder he found. They both managed to get out of the hole.

"Byeol-ah, you're okay." Soobin came straight to Byeol who just got out of that hole and when he saw Beomgyu, Soobin was very angry with him. "Yahl...!! Choi Beomgyu, what did you do to Byeol?"

Beomgyu looked surprised and scared of Soobin who was so angry with him, so he backed away automatically from Soobin.

"Binnie oppa don't be mad at Beomgyu, he helped me earlier." Byeol came to protect Beomgyu and explained what actually happened.

After hearing Byeol', Soobin regretted being angry with Beomgyu "I'm sorry, I misunderstood. Thanks for saving Byeol."

"It's okay, you helped me too" Beomgyu dared to see Soobin. He's not mad anymore, even this is the first time Soobin's been so friendly to him.

"Binnie, how did you get here?" 

When he hear the question from Byeol, Soobin then remembers something he's been saving. He took something out of his pocket and hand them over to Byeol. "I've been looking for you, to give you this. Happy birthday Byeol-ah, sorry I'm late for that."

Byeol opened the package Soobin gave her and took out the contents. "You shouldn't have bothered to buy me a present. I was upset that you didn't come to the surprise party."

"Sorry Byeol-ah, but I still want to give you something. You don't like that?"

Hearing the question Soobin asked, Byeol shook her head. "It's very pretty, I love it very much. Thank you oppa."

"Good then. Let's go home, it's getting late." When Soobin was about to pull Byeol's hand to take her home. Byeol held Soobin's hand, making Soobin turn to Byeol who was looking at Beomgyu with a guilty expression on her face.

"Oppa, can we take Beomgyu home first? He's hurt because of me." Byeol pointed to Beomgyu's injured foot while saving Byeol.

Soobin looked at Beomgyu's foot wound and then Beomgyu's face. He hesitated to take Beomgyu, because he knew Beomgyu's mom wouldn't be mad if he took her son home with a wound like that.

"No need, I can go home alone." Beomgyu refused Byeol's request. He doesn't want them to be scolded by his mom. But Byeol still want to take Beomgyu hom, there's nothing Soobin can do if the Byeol has shown her stubbornness. He can only follow Byeol's request.

As soon as Beomgyu was at home, Beomgyu's mom panicked seeing a wound in Beomgyu's foot and when she saw Soobin and Byeol she approached them, ready to scold them. Byeol immediately bowed her head and apologized for what happened.

Beomgyu approached his mom and tried to calm her down. He explained what happened, he asked his mom not to angry at Byeol and Soobin. His mom then agreed and let Byeol and Soobin go home.

After Byeol and Soobin went home, Beomgyu immediately went to the bathroom to clean himself up. But then stopped in front of a mirror that was installed in the bathroom. He's staring at the reflection in that mirror. Something confused him, the reflection in the mirror showed a smile in his face but his eyes radiated something that frightened Beomgyu.

"Can't you leave me alone? The little present you want is not with me. Just go..."
