10. New School

"I don't want Byeol to go."

Hearing Soobin's words made Byeol sad. Even though they just met, he's like a brother who always takes care of her. And Beomgyu, he's her friend. She was very sad to have left them.

Byeol has always been alone. Before they moved, Byeol has no friends at all. Although she always tried to be friendly and nice to her schoolmates. But they always turned Byeol down. Because they think Byeol's a weird kid, she's too kind and innocent. They sometimes make fun of Byeol who doesn't have a mother.  Even though Byeol never told her dad, but he still knew all. That's one of the reasons her dad took her to move.

But this time after she found friends, her dad took her away from them. Byeol is confused about the change that happened to her dad. Her dad was never like this. She feels like there's something her dad trying to hide from her.

"Choi Soobin, that's enough! You can't be so stubborn. Get to your room." Everyone in the room was surprised to hear Soobin's dad yell at Soobin.

Soobin just shut up and stare to his dad. Without a word, he left the room and his mom followed him from behind, worried about her son.

"All right then, thank you again for dinner." Beomgyu's dad said goodbye and immediately took his wife and Beomgyu home.

"Choi Yoongi... You can do that to him." Grandma scolded Soobin's dad for raising his voice to Soobin.

"Soobin should not be act like that mom."

"I know what is fine and can't be done by my grandson, you still can't yell at him in front of so many people." Grandma who got angry, made her son unable to say anything.

"Calm down, Aunt, maybe Soobin got surprised to hear this news, I'll talk to him later." Byeol's dad tried to calm grandma down. "Byeol, it's already night you better go back to your room.."

"Alright Dad."

The day came when Byeol have to move. Soobin still looks upset and Beomgyu obviously looks very sad.

"Binnie oppa, Will you see me off with that expression? It would just make me feel bad" Soobin lifted his head and turned to Byeol. His eyes started to glaze but he held the tears to not flow from his eyes.

"You should come here often, Promise me."

"I promise. And you must look after Beomgyu, never be mean to him."

"Why should I take care of Beomgyu? He can take care of himself."

"Beomgyu is our friend, oppa. You just have to promise me that."

"All right... all right, I promise."

Heard Soobin finally wanted to promise, Byeol finally smiled. She then approached Beomgyu who stood not far from Soobin, he kept turning his gaze away as if try not to see Byeol.

"Gyu..." Beomgyu finally took a look at Byeol. Byeol finally saw the tears he's been trying to hide. "Why are you crying, Gyu? I'm just moving doesn't mean I won't be back."

"But I'll rarely see you. I'm so sad to think you're so far away."

Beomgyu pouted his lips. Makes him look so cute even though he's crying. Byeol then pinched both Beomgyu's cheeks instantly. "No need to be sad, even though we're now far away we're still friends."

Beomgyu holds Byeol's hand Who's still sticking in his cheeks. His cheeks are starting to blush probably because Byeol pinched them pretty hard, so Byeol immediately took her hands off of Beomgyu's cheek. "Sorry Gyu, did I hurt you?"

Byeol brings her face closer to Beomgyu's cheek to check his cheek condition. But Beomgyu held his cheeks which were getting redder. He's back to turning his face off of Byeol. "No Byeol, I'm fine."

"Okay then, I'll leave now." Byeol took her face away from Beomgyu and started to stepin the car where her dad was waiting. Right before Byeol opened the car door, she turned around to see Soobin and Beomgyu again. "Binnie oppa don't forget your promise and Gyu take care of my flowers."

After moving, Byeol's dad was getting busy with his new job. Byeol's happy because finally he got a job that suits him. All this time because of her, Byeol's dad had to give up on his dreams. Since her dad has sacrificed so much for Byeol's happiness. She promised herself, she would always try to support whatever makes him happy.

In her first day of school, Byeol feel a little nervous because she enter in the second half of semester. And the memories of her old school are still in her head.

Byeol immediately find the principal office after entering the school. At the principal office, Byeol directly introduced to her homeroom teacher.

"Ah, you are the new student? Your name is Jung Byeol." the homeroom teacher read Byeol's data in the paper she hold. "Well, you're moving from abroad and your grades are very good." She put the paper and looking at Byeol from head to toe. "I'm Mrs. Park, welcome in my class.".

Mrs. Park move from her seat and put a mark on Byeol to follow her. Byeol was immediately follow every step Mrs. Park go and get them in front of a class which is certainly her class.

"Okay students, attention please. We have a new student, so please be nice to her." after that Mrs. Park called Byeol to introduce herself

"Hello, my name is Jung Byeol. Nice to meet you."

"Byeol, you can sit in one of the empty seat there." Mrs. Park appointed to the two empty seat in the right side of the class, the seat is in the middle row and close to the window, but the seat was empty. As no one wants to sit there. Byeol was curious because for her the seat was very strategic.

Byeol already sat on one of the seat. And other students began to whisper like they talked about something. Byeol just saw them with confusion. She was gonna asking a student who sat behind her. But the class door suddenly open and shows a boy student who looks very neat. And from the look of him, he looks like a good, nice and smart student. When the other students saw the boy, they instantly stopped talking and fell silent, as if the boy was something scary for them.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Park. I just got back from the rest room." The boy said very politely. He even smiled with very sincere. That boy not creepy at all. But the other students acting like that when they saw that boy. Byeol was confused with what is shown by the other students to the boy who were just coming.

"Oh it's okay Taehyun. Class is just about to start."

The boy named Taehyun entered the class and walked toward his seat which surprised Byeol because he was standing right next to the Byeol. "I'm sorry, but you're sitting on my seat."

Byeol got up from the seat and moved to the empty seat beside."I'm sorry I didn't know."

Taehyun sat on his seat. "My name is Jung Byeol, now I'm your seatmate." Byeol trying to introduce herself to Taehyun. But Taehyun just looking at Byeol with the cold stares and put the expressions of unconcerned in his face. He was immediately turn his attention to the class.
