O i k a w a
I hum to the feeling of warmth hitting my face. A blanket over my body, and the sound of a fan from the corner of a room. My eyes flutter open to reveal a very unfamiliar room. Where the fuck am I?
Slowly sitting up and throwing the blanket off of my body, I look around slowly. Light grey walls, with white accent frames, and large curtains pulled to either side of a an abnormally large window with glass doors leading out to the porch, which I'm guessing is over a backyard.
"Ah, I see that you're awake." A feminine voice calls from the left side of the room, causing me to snap my head in her direction. A short girl with long brown hair and brown eyes, smiles at me.
"U-Um.. where am I..?" I ask, trembling slightly. The girl's eyes widen before she relaxes a bit. "You've been here once before. Gosh, my brother never shut up about it, and I never even got to meet you until now! I'm Sakura Iwaizumi; Hajime's little sister."
That explains the resemblance. My eyes widen as I realize that I'm not in my clothes. He did not- I glance upwards to the doorway, to see Sakura stifling a laugh. "Heheh, he's in the kitchen." She states before rushing down the hall.
I shoot up from the bed and follow the sound of dishes being washed. Took me about 2 minutes because the sound just bounced off the walls, making me mistake one hall for another. Eventually I locked eyes on the kitchen, and the large living room with a vaulted ceiling, behind the counter.
"HAJIME IWAIZUMI!" I shout rather loudly, placing both hands on either side of the doorway as Hajime's body stiffens, while his little sister is cackling in the living room.
He nervously laughs as he turns around, turning off the water. "Uh- haha-" I growl out inaudible words and strut over to him, only for him to bring his arms in front of his face. "YOU DIDN'T LOOK COMFORTABLE!"
I huff, backing up a bit. "You're absolutely terrible. You know that?" I ask, placing my hands on my hips.
Hajime stands straight up and chuckles, nodding. "No, I meant terrible as in cooking." At that comment, his eyes widen and he curses out the world. Frantically he tries to move around the burning bacon on the large pan over the electric stove. How do you even do that? (Totally not a reference to my friends boyfriend burning RAMEN- 😭)
I mean, considering that bacon smells so good, you'd think you'd keep an eye on it so it comes out perfect. But nope, this man is a mess and totally ruining my life. Sighing, I lean against the wall, crossing my arms over my chest as the kitchen calms down. "What happened last night?" I ask, looking up to meet Hajime's eyes.
"Well, a drunk man tried to lure you someplace. But I stopped him, you cried into my shirt, and I ended up just bringing you back here."
My eyes widen and my face begins to burn up. Huh?! He chuckles again before leaning back on the counter, gripping the edge of it, slouching a tad. "You also called me Iwa." It's clear that he enjoys this; being evident on his face by that devilish smirk.
Nonetheless, I repeat the process, and slide down the wall with a whine. I hold my knees to my chest and put my head in between them. Suddenly, it hits me. I didn't wake up in the same room I did before. Slowly lifting my head, I look up at him.
"Ooooooh, you might want to run, brother. He just realized something, and you're obviously dead for it." Sakura coos as she swings into the kitchen with a smug smile on her face. I like this girl.
"First.. you brought me here.. second.. you changed me.. third... you slept with me."
"Well? What did you think I was going to do? Let you stay alone at your place after you fell asleep crying? Or, OR, take a chance of Daishou making his little minions do his dirty work?! HELL NO!"
