Andrea's pov

Well this is just great.

We're living with the Italian fucking Mafia. Armani starts to pace back and forth while anxiously tugging on his hair.

"We gotta form an escape plan and leave in the middle of the night like secret ninjas." I hear him mumble to himself repeatedly.

I get up and walk over to him. I instantly bring him in for a hug to try and calm his nerves. "Breath fratello. Everything will turn out okay. They haven't tried to hurt us right?" (brother) He slowly nods. "They have treated us pretty good since we got here. Besides Roman, but he apologized for his actions." I tell him further.

"You're right. They have been pretty good I guess." He quietly agrees.

"But remember Nathan?" As soon as Armani says his name, a cold feeling washes over me

My face forms into a glare. I look down to the floor feeling all the emotions from that day coming back. I push them back and make a mental note to let out my anger later.

I feel a hand being placed on my shoulder. "I'm sorry Rea. It's hard for me too. You know you can talk to me about it right?" I sheepishly nod. I mentally curse myself for allowing Armani to see me upset about that day. Even if it's understandable.

I have always tried to be strong for him. Even after everything that happened.

One of us had to stay composed while the other one grieved. Whenever Armani fell asleep, I would cry and try hard not to wake him up with my sobs. I didn't want him to see me hurting.

Nathan was one of Dominique's many boyfriends from her time alive. He was a local gang leader who she got involved with. They were together for a bit. She didn't love him though. She didn't love anyone but herself.

To this day, I'm not sure if Nathan ever loved Dominique. I think he did at some point until he realized she was an obsessed bitch.

Nathan played a huge role in the events that happened that day and the outcome of it. Let's just say he wasn't a good person and basically scared me and Armani for life.

I won't go into detail about that day, not yet at least. It's hard to even think about.

"I doubt they can be as bad as him." I tell him stiffly. Silence follows after that. Armani strokes the back of my hair, straightening it in the process. It calms me a bit.

I've always loved it when someone would touch or play with my hair. I can't really explain why. I guess it's just relaxing and feels nice.

The silence is broken by Armani. "So what do we do? Do we confront them or...?" I shake my head and turn down the idea.

"No, that's a bad idea. They'll ask how we found out. We can't tell them you hacked into some files where we found information on them. They'll become suspicious and obviously that isn't good." He nods. "You right, you right."

I let go of Armani and walk back towards the laptop. I exit out of the file and move onto another one filled with a list of legal businesses. I hear Armani walk up behind me, placing his head on my shoulder.

"What's it say?" He asks. I read over the file and give him a brief summary. "Legal businesses to cover up what they do and to bring in extra cash. There are a few tech companies and a bunch of other product lines.

They own a range of hotels, restaurants, buildings, and clubs all over Italy. There are also a few in big cities in America. Like New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and LA."

He reads over all the statistics too. "Yeah a few were started by our Grandpa, Alessandro's dad. Some are so old it dates back to our great grandfather. Alessando and Leonardo opened the rest of them." Damn no wonder they're loaded.
