Chapter 4*********************************************************

The 3 of us waited for Hanns outside the meeting hall. “Oi! Hello old friend!” Hanns said waving his hand in our direction as he walked through the large doorway and towards us.

“You lot are the so called wizard trainers, hmm?” looking me and Celia up and down and chuckling, “well, they don’t look like much but if you say so!” Hanns said laughing louder and clapping my father on the back. “Come, to my home we go!” he said with another hearty laugh and we started down the busy street.

It was hot and sticky as we walked down the street and my mind felt buzzed from being around so many people. Celia hung on to the edge of my cloak as we watched father and Hanns talking long strides and talking with their heads close together.

“I don’t like Hanns.” Celia said suddenly and with a huff. “Don’t worry about him, just hope that his kids don’t act the same.” I said looking over at her and giving her a smile. Why did I get signed up for this? I thought.

“One moment, I will bring my children out.” Hanns said as we approached his house. “Do please make it quick friend, we must be on our way.” Father said with a smile. “Oh yes, one moment then I will grab them.” Hanns said, disappearing into the dark house. We waited silently for the return of Hanns and his children.

I sighed, and looked at the sun that was beginning to set and paint the sky brilliant shades of orange and pink. And while looking down the road towards the sun I saw Klara from earlier. The setting sun behind her enhanced her beauty tenfold. She turned and noticed me and laughed and waved. I felt a blush creep up on my face and turned away when I heard Hanns voice.

He was ushering 2 children out of the door that he held open. A tallish boy with dark hair and brown eyes and a smaller girl with the same hair and eyes stepped towards us.

“These are my children, James and Mary.” Hanns introduced “James is 15 and Mary is 11.” “Why such English names?” father asked. Hanns rolled his eyes “My wife is very excited about the English culture and just loved the names.” James smiled and winked at Celia and I felt her emotions doing summer saults.  I glared at her just to see her staring dreamily ant James.

Great, I thought rolling my eyes, now we will both have relationship issues! “Well we best be off!” father said clapping his hands together “so very nice to meet your children, I will send Silas to pick them up tomorrow.”

I wanted to groan, so now I have to live with them too!

Jason walked up to Celia and kissed her hand. I swore she was about to fall over dead.  As she swooned he walked over to me and shook my hand. I got a small jolt of triumph when I realized I was about 3 inches taller than him. When we went to shake hands he pulled me to himself pretending to give me a hug. Our fathers laughed, but we didn’t. “I saw that you blushed when you saw me, were my looks to over- whelming for you and your sister?”

“I would be carful if I were you arscholch, I could freeze all the water in your body and make you die a slow painful death where you stand. Would you like that?” I felt him try to pull away as the confidence he had started to leave him. “I’m in charge now, remember that.” And we broke apart with forced smiles on our faces.

“Great to meet you.” James said stiffly. “The pleasures all mine.” I said with a smirk.
