Chapter 5******************************************************
Slowly and silently we made our march back up the steep hill that led to our home. Only the sound was the dead grass as we crushed it beneath our feet to break the still air.
I know that my father is probably thinking about the dark guild and what their next move might be. Celia was most likely thinking about James. UGH!! Just thinking of her thinking of him makes me feel sick. But what I really wonder is who would be training us.
“Father?’ I asked timidly, my answer was a grunt so I assumed that I could continue. “Well, I was just wondering who you were going to have train us?” I said quickening my step so that I was walking alongside him and not behind.
“Do you remember Gary from the council?” When I nodded, he continued. “Well he is a warlock from England, almost the same as a wizard but slightly different. Gary came to us years ago with a prophecy that this town would need magic to save it at its most desperate time. Now that this time has arisen he has become one of the most listened to and respected council member.”
I smiled at the thought of the kind old man I had met earlier, making jokes from his council chair.
“Don’t smile just yet.” My father said after seeing my grin. “I also got another trainer. She is from America and I hear that she is one of the most talented wizards in the world.”
“A woman is going to train us?!?!” I asked raising my eyebrows. And not a moment after the words left my mouth I felt a hard kick to the back of my kneecaps sending me falling face first onto the ground.
“Celia!!” I yelled at her as I scrambled to my feet, face reddening. Celia just raised her eyebrows and shrugged her shoulders innocently, sending my father into a fit of laughter. “Silas, you better watch your mouth around these wizarding women, they’ll get ya!” And with another laugh and a clap on both of our backs we headed towards the house.

When we approached the house we saw your mother standing arms outstretched in the yard as if to speak to the heavens. The clouds rumbled around her as she used all the winds to bring in the rain for the farmers crops.
Once inside the house we tore off our heavy cloaks and boots, then headed to our individual rooms to wait for dinner, which my father had started to prepare.
As I lay on my bed in my large room, I stare at the night sky witch me and Celia had painted last summer. It had all the constellations that we had read about in our magic books. But even though I was looking at them I wasn’t really seeing the stars. My mind kept drifting back to the girl with the green eyes and blonde hair. I rolled over trying to shake her from my mind but her face stubbornly stayed.
“Silas! Celia!” I heard my father yell through the house. I threw my self off of my bed and met Celia in the hall. She had changed into loose pants and a shirt, which was fine if we were at home. I smiled at her and she glared at me still mad about the whole, “we are going to have a lady teacher” thing. As we all settled at the table, my mom rushed in cheeks flushed red and her hair windswept. “So my dears, how was your day in town?” she said giving us both the warmest smile. I thought about complaining about the new boy who would be staying with us or Celia kicking me. But any anger I had was melted away by my mother’s smile.
“It was very nice mother, I met someone in town!” I said as I took a bite of mashed potatoes. “Did you now! Well good to see you’re getting out there Silas!” mother said while laying a hand on my arm. “It was a girl.” Celia said sourly. “Well then, Clause! Our boys becoming all grown up and talking to Girls!” My mother was now practically bouncing in her seat. “Now, now Dagna give the boy a rest.” My father said with a laugh at my red face.
The rest of dinner contained more small talk about the events of the day and what we talked about at the council. After me and Celia finished we excused ourselves and went to bed. Before departing to our separate rooms, Celia bid me goodnight with a scowl. As I drifted to sleep I thought about the girl with the green eyes.
