TWENTY SEVEN - YOUR GRACE
(06/05/2021)
The willingness she felt in her heart overcame her unusual anxiety. She'd never felt more connected to another human being before today, her own wedding day. A day that she never thought would ever happen, she remembered begging Anthony to allow her to wed Arthur when she was young and in love but it would never amount to this feeling. The feeling of longing, constantly feeling more than just content with life, the burst of happiness that would would make her aura radiant as she was near his very presence. She had politely informed Anthony that Arthur would walk her down the aisle, it was an extemporaneous moment, she had blurted it out without thinking it over but she truly wanted him to walk her down the aisle. She had revealed all to Simon, a stunned look washed over his face but quickly subsided as he knew that Calista only had eyes from him. He had subtly agreed knowing how much Arthur meant to his bride to be. They were always friends even when they loved each other, previously in a romantic affair.
She had often thought, in another life, herself and Arthur would become one but she had been proven wrong as Simon was, in fact, the love of her life and her soulmate forever.
She now knew that she would follow Simon to the ends of the Earth wherever her soul was.
Being in love with him was like a breath of fresh air. At first, she had doubted that she would ever find someone else, she thought that she would have her fun and then her brother would eventually make her marry Arthur but thankfully, she found the one.
She loved the sight of him, she loved the way he stuttered when he was obviously nervous around her and she knew it was because he was nervous of her and nothing else which made her know how much he appreciated her company and give her a tiny insight of how open his heart was to her.
Even the way he kissed her with deep passion, made her completely putty in his hands. She often dreamt about his tongue roaming around her mouth; the sweet saliva engulfing her tastebuds.
She vowed to herself that her heart would never belong to another. She could never imagine flirting with another man let alone another man touch her body. The feeling was foreign yet she couldn't wait for the future-
-just the two of them living their dream.
The morning of the wedding was blissful, hushed voices spoke as she cried with happiness as her mother helped her get dressed into her over extravagant white dress which surely would be talk of the Ton, of course Calista wouldn't have dressed plain for her wedding day.
She wasn't known amongst the family to express her feelings as much as Daphne but today was a sweet day indeed. She was at one with her emotions, she had opened the floodgates and let her emotions shine through for Simon.
