I stared at Ant, my ears twitching as I looked down at her. I feel like I should say something, but the words wouldn't come out. Instead, I just stare at her, then she began to stare at me in the eyes.
"What? " I ask

"Nothing. I just... Never thought I'd see you like this." Ant replies

"What am I supposed to be, exactly?" I ask, confusion apparent.

Ant doesn't answer my question, so I just shrug it off. The hunters were getting closer, the hoof beats from their horses thundering in the distance.

"Shouldn't we be doing something?" Ant asks me, beginning to look around nervously. I need a plan as soon as possible. Maybe Ant has a human form, I could trasform into a horse and then it will be a lot quicker, but if she doesn't I can just put her in my saddel bag.

"Do you have a human form? " I ask her whilst transforming into a horse. Ant looks down for a moment, before shrugging.

"I wish I did."

"We don't have time for this. We need to get out of here, now."

"Okay."

I picked up Ant and started to gallop away from the hunters. They must have given up the search and are probably regrouping. I keep low, as I sprint through the marsh, heading towards the trees. Once I see the nearby tree line, I break into a thundering gallop. I see a huge cliff side that I can easily jump over ,so I quickly transform back into a wolf as it is the easiest form to jump long distances and ran as fast as I possibly could, leaping into the air. Ant grabbed my fur and jump with me, flying through the air and landing a good distance away from the edge. I transform into a human as we hit the ground, Ant landing softly on all fours beside me. I pick up Ant and transformed into a horse as I continued to run through a lively green forest unlike the rest of the planet.

"What's the plan?" Ant asks, looking around nervously. There was no time to explain, so we just kept running.
