Tony had taken it upon himself to give Ana a tour of the compound, show her the living quarters, the training grounds and of course her new bedroom

Ana was already astounded by the size of this place but as she stepped one foot into the room assigned for her... her jaw dropped

"This can't be all for me, surely not!"

"This is all yours sweetheart" Tony didn't seem to understand why she was so confused. To him it was just a room. To Ana, this room was bigger than the whole studio apartment she was previously staying in!

The room was easily 500 square feet, a queen sized bed stood in the middle of the room with a large wooden bed frame and was sitting on top of some old looking Woden crates, however the crates were actually made of metal. It was obvious Tony wanted to give the room a nice old, rustic vibe yet he wanted everything to be durable. There were plenary of bookshelves in the room as well as a full sized en suite bathroom.

"It's beautiful" Ana muttered under her breath, after going such a long time with such little human interactions this was all so foreign to her. "The vibes, the books, the crates it's- it's perfect" a smile made its way across Ana's face causing Tony's to light up even more

"I'll leave you here to get yourself settled then I'm sure Nat will come and introduce you to everyone

Oh god- Ana hadn't even thought of the fact that there were 8 other avengers she was yet to meet. Her first 2 interactions didn't go that badly but She was sure that the worst was yet to come. Some of the avengers had reputations with the people Ana ran with, captain Steve Rogers: the brave super soldier who forgets he's still human, The Vision: a robot machine that was literally made to kill, wanda maximoff: powers she can barely control herself but apparently she's a lovely girl. there were so many. Too many.

Most people would jump at the idea of being able to meet the avengers, for Ana this was definitely not the case

She sat down on the bed infront of her, "holy shi- this is the softest thing I think I've ever felt" she said to herself

"You having fun there" Nat was stood leaning against the doorframe of the room Ana was seeming to enjoy her time in

"Oh, um, yeah I guess so" Ana's voice was shaking from the awkward moment her sister had just caught her in

"Well sorry to ruin your time with that bed, but you've got some avengers to meet" Nat went on as if she had more to say but Ana immediately interrupted

"Nat I really don't think this is a good idea you know... me... meeting your friends... the friking avengers! I shouldn't even be here for starters, simple as that, my life was fine how it was you really shouldn't have brought me here! All that's going to happen is your friends are going to hate me and I'll end up back on the run in a month just for it to go back to as if you and I had never knew each other " even Ana was suprised by her own words. The room fell silent.

Around 2 very awkward, very silent minuets had passed until Nat finally spoke up "I missed you kid, I'm not gonna let you be alone again. Besides I see no reason for the team not to like you!" She snickered slightly, as if she was jokes but her comment was said with all seriousness. She really saw no reason for why the avengers would not like her

In all honesty, Ana saw no reason either, it was just her anxiety getting the better of her as always.

Slowing standing up from the bed and making her way towards the door Ana had decided to go with her sister "fine. I'll come introduce myself. But I'm not shaking anyone's hand-" both girls laughed slightly thinking back to the slightly awkward first interaction Ana had had with Tony and Bruce.

Nat and Ana slowly made their way though the hallways of the compound. Ana still couldn't get over how huge this place was yet still she tried her hardest to stall for as long as possible

It was obvious that meeting the avengers was definitely not number one on her to do list while in New York but if this is what she had to do to get out of this place as fast as possible then she would do it. Unfortunately for Ana however, her and Nat had  arrived in the lounge where she was immediately surrounded by faces only made familiar from the TVs in bars.

The first to approach the girls was a tall blonde man for some reason carrying a quiver full of arrows on his back?

"Hey Nat! Tony told us you had a guest with you, nice to meet you, the names Clint!" Luckily there was no awkward handshake or anything like that, just a pat on the back as he smirked at Natasha and walked off in the opposite direction. Natasha however stopped him as he walked and whispered something in his ear. All Ana heard was something about a party that she knew she would definitely NOT be attending.

"Ana why don't you go sit over at the counter I'll be over in a bit ok." Nat said as she smiled and walked over to the group of muscular men stood around by the sofa

Ana did just that, she very cautious walked over to the bar counter on the right hand side of the large room and sat down, praying to god that no one would come over and try talk to her.

5 minuets passed, Ana sat alone at the counter, something she rather enjoyed. Unfortunately her alone time was soon accompanied by someone she knew all too well

"Ayyy it's you! Your that girl from coreys bar august 25th last year" the boy leaned over Ana to grab a drink, his silver hair blowing in her face

"Pietro. What a wonderful suprise." Ana sounded incredibly unamused. Turns out, her and pietro had met in a bar last summer and it's safe to say they didn't end of the best terms "last time I saw you, you where what... 15 shots down and a rough estimated what, 6 inches deep with your tounge down Kaci's throat" that was it, she had attempted to block the night out of her memory but seeing his incredibly punchable face brought it all back to her

They were friends for a solid week. Until he moved onto her best friend. That was the last they had seen eachother until now, Ana sure wasn't happy about it.

She took it upon herself to stand up and move to the other end of the counter, hoping Pietro would get the hint and leave her alone... luckily he did. But unfortunately for Ana, The blur of Pietro super speeding away from her caught the attention of another avenger.
