Chapter 4

I awoke alone, listening to two voices speaking. My vision was blurry, but it's not like I could see who it was anyways. I closed my eyes, not even able to understand what they were saying. I heard heavy shoes making their way into the room, catching my attention. The rich musky wood filled the room, making me realize just who it was. I felt the body sit next to me, pressing their hand against the cut part of my neck. The bandage was gone as I felt the hand go over the cut. The hand made its way up to cup my check, gently rubbing it with their thumb. I formed a 'mmm' as I leaned into the touch. The body chuckled lightly, confirming my conspiracy. It was no doubt Shadow. I opened my eyes eager to see him, looking up to his ruby eyes. "You're awake, that's good. I heard what happened, now Silver I have questions and you cannot lie to me." Shadow's voice very quickly grew serious, making me know full well what he was going to ask. "Who did it? You sure didn't do it yourself. I doubt you can write the word 'bitch' on your hip that well upside down." He leaned in, making it clear he wasn't kidding.

I explained everything except what was in the notebook, not willing to let him know. He took in every detail. "I see, well then I will see what I can do." He finally spoke after a few minutes of silence. I curled up remembering last night, uneasy now that he knows. "Go over it again, I feel like details are missing." He spoke once more, as if he could see through me. I felt choked up, I knew I would out something. "Alright.... During the free period I met a man who had a notebook-" I realized my words, I really just outed myself. "A notebook? I assume yours." He continued for me, crossing a leg over the other. ".... Yes, It had something I rather not speak about." I quickly saved myself, earning a nod.

"I had to do whatever he said, I went to see him at midnight to where he clearly wanted something I didn't want to give. I ended up shoving him after he continued to grab me and bite, and he grew angry.... Scourge cut me with a knife to make sure I wouldn't do it again." I knew I shouldn't have, but I spoke his name I now knew. "Scourge? I know him, he's done things like this before." he added to my claim, becoming more interested. "I will be finding and talking to him-" "No!" I quickly yelled, cutting him off. He looked at me in confusion, questioning my words. "Look, i'm scared.... I don't want you to.... See it...." I tried to save myself, eager to win over the situation. He nodded, getting up from my bed. "Very well, I will not. Now you may come to class when you are able to." He spoke before leaving. I hugged my pillow, knowing full well he probably was going to look. But I can't whine now, I do have work to do.

Silver: Sonic, do you know Fiona?

Sonic: Fiona? Like, that chipmunk/squirrel lady?

Silver: I think so, she's dating a green hedgehog.

Sonic: Oh! I know that lady! My sister knows her personally, do you need her?

Silver: Yes, I'd like her number

Sonic: Oh, of course! Just give me one minute!

I waited staring at my screen till I saw a message from another number. I got the number from Sonia after explaining everything, to which he hesitated. Once I got her number, the war began.

Silver: Hello, is this Fiona?

Fiona: Who the fuck is asking?

Silver: I won't share who I am

Fiona: Then i'm not interested

Silver: It's about Scourge, your boyfriend

Fiona:.... I'm listening?

Silver: Me and Scourge recently got in a situation. He has something of mine that he's using to take advantage of me. Last night I was called to his room, to which I was not allowed to say no.
