Intertwined: Our fates and hearts

The Proposal - Part 1

I had been planning this for a while now. I think it was on that trip I had realised that I wanted to ask her to be with me forever. We were in Kyoto and we had just attended a fireworks festival, we had laughed and talked all night. She had worn this pink kimono and she had looked absolutely gorgeous. The next day we wanted to do something adventurous so we took the train to a random small town near to Kyoto.

It was small little secluded countryside covered in snow. It was snowing. We walked around, saw a small temple which looked ancient. Then as day passed both of us got really hungry and so found a little eatery and had some hot ramen. It was just after sundown when we decided to walk back to the station. By this time it had started to snow heavily. We had taken a different root perhaps when we came across this huge tree covered in snow. I couldn't tell which tree it was but it looked magnificent with a street light just beside it. When we looked at the scenery behind, there were snow covered mountains in the distance, a large field all white, and a train line where a train that had stopped in the middle of nowhere.

The wind was really strong and her hair flowed along with the wind. She wore a beige winter jacket while I wore a black one. To me, it looked like we were in a snow covered valley. There were only our footprints on the road. As usual I had joked about something and we were both looking at the tree and laughing. And it was that moment when we looked into each other's eyes for a little longer and we knew we are made for each other. I knew I wanted to make her my wife.

We kissed. Her soft lips on mine. Our eyes closed as we just felt each other. And we kept kissing for a long long time, unable to let go, not wanting to let go of each other. Our fingers intertwined with each others. I believe it was the most beautiful moment of my life. We were in some random part of the country, disconnected from everyone else, Hinata in my arms, her sweet lips on mine. And I realised, I didn't need anything more to live.

Suddenly the breeze became even more harsh and it got much more cold. Somehow we walked to the station where we got to know that there has been a snow storm warning in the area and all the trains have been cancelled until further notice. We talked to the station master whose friend had a spare cabin nearby. We agreed to rent it for the night unable to go anywhere else. We got the keys from the station master and we made a run for the cabin.

It was a very small place with just one room and a kitchenette along with a small fire place. There was wood, so we closed the doors and windows and started a fire. I spread out the bedding and took out the blankets for the night. We boiled some water had hot tea sitting by the fire. When it was warm and cozy enough, we took out our jacket and boots and laid next to each other in that blanket until we were both just inches away from each other.

The weather had done something to my heart or perhaps it was Hinata so close to me. We were both breathing really hard looking at each other.

"This is fun? Isn't it?" Her voice was shivering due to all the cold she had felt outside.

"Do we even remember the name of this town?" I laughed.

"We will see tomorrow at the station."

"Hinata..." I held her close to me and I kissed her. She kissed me back.

"Naruto, I wanted you very very close to me."

I pulled her even more closer until there was so space between us. I kissed her lips, her cheeks, her eyes, her nose, her chin, her forehead, her neck and back to her lips. She whispered that she wanted me and I wanted her too.

I kissed her even more passionately sliding my hands down to her skirt. I slowly lifted her skirt to remove her warmer and her panties. She moaned as my hands made my way to her inner thighs and then to her clit. I could sense myself getting hard for her. She sensed it too and slowly she moved her hands over my pants and rubbed me for a while. Then she unbuttoned my pants made me remove them. We both kept wearing our tshirt and blouse.

"Hinata I love you..."

I got on top of her and slowly pushed myself inside her. Nothing between us, I felt complete, I felt whole. I kept pushing in and out slowly while constantly kissing her. Her moans and her saying I love you made me want to make love to her even more passionately. I picked up rhythm while constantly kissing her lips and moaning in between. I couldn't stop myself with all emotions overflowing in me and even in her and I came inside her.

We kept lying wrapped around each other for a long time until the fire started to die out and it started gettinf cold again. I made sure Hinata wore her warmer and I also wore my pants. I put some more wood into the fire and laid next to Hinata holding her close to my heart. The next morning when we got up, we didn't want to leave but the snow storm had passed and we had to go back to reality.

We got dressed properly and we hot out of the cabin and walked back towards the station. We again passed the tree in between and we stopped there for a few minutes to admire it in day light. I looked at Hinata and I wanted to ask her to marry me right away. But I decided that it is our first anniversary in three weeks time, why not surprise her then with a properly planned proposal. With that thought in my mind, Hinata and I came back to Kyoto and then after a day, we came back to Konoha.

I had thought about this over and over. The only thing I could think about was to ask Hinata for dinner and surprise here there. As it is our anniversary she would never suspect. I had booked the entire rooftop restaurant, one of the best in Konoha. Had it decorated with lilies, lavender flowers with a hint of orange everywhere, our favourite colours. I had a small group of violinists ready to play her favourite song and a beautiful diamon ring that I had chosen with the help of my pervy old man and Gaara.

The morning of our anniversary Hinata had looked a bit worried but when I asked her, she said it was nothing. She had gone to work as usual. When she came back, she almost didn't want to go out but I convinced her otherwise. I made her wear her favourite dress and took her to the restaurant. She looked a little down. We entered the restaurant and it was all dark. Then as Hinata walked ahead, of me, I went down on my knees and gave a cue to switch on the lights.

It was the most beautiful sight ever. Hinata was shocked and surprised at the same time when she looked around. The violins started playing as soon as the restaurant lit up. She turned back and saw me sitting on my knees with the ring in my hand. She started crying.

She came and she hugged me even before I could say anything.

"I have a full speech prepared you know." I cleared my throat.

She laughed while crying and hugging me. She then stood up and she told me to give my speech.

"Hinata Hyuga, the day I saw you for the first time, there was something about you that had drawn me towards you. You agreed to go to Ichiraku with me and you loved the ramen there. You made so much ramen for me in the past year. You put your life on the line for me, and I swear I will do the same for you without even blinking. As we spent more and more time together I kept getting more and more sure that I would want to spend my entire life with you. I understand your wishes and you understand mine. You have become my home, my family, the person I come back home to after a tiring day at work. You the the person who welcomes me back every evening with the warmest smile and I want to see this smile till the day I die. So Hinata Hyuga, will you marry me and make me happy for the rest of my life like you do today?"

I think I did good because Hinata was stunned. She couldn't say a word. She looked at me with awe. I mean I really wanted her to say that yes but she was taking a lot of time. Then she started to cry again.

"Naruto...I love you and I will love you forever and yes, I want to marry you but..."

My heart almost stopped when I heard that "but". I mean what would stop her from marrying me. What is more important than saying a yes to me right now.

"Hinata..?"

"Naruto I got to know this morning that..." she hesitated before saying it.

I got up from my knees and I held her hand.

"Tell me Hinata, what is it?"

"Naruto I am pregnant."
