Addie's POV:
I was flicking through the TV channels, searching for something to watch that would take my mind off of my worried thoughts while my brain went over the past occurrences that had happened this morning that I could've missed that would explain my odd situation.

I'd woken up this morning with my door unlocked and nobody home. I searched the whole house, looking for Ed and after I couldn't find him, I began to worry. I'd searched over the house twice more, calling Ed's name. I'd even gotten desperate enough to call the boys' names too. After that I was scared. I felt unsafe and strangely safe at the same time. But then my mind had gotten to wondering. I thought of all the possibilities of where they could've went. They could've been going to get rid of Ed somewhere deep and secluded, in order to hide his body. I'd quickly shaken off the morbid thoughts and mentally smacked myself for thinking that way.

After trying to eat an apple, but failing due to my queasy stomach, I'd noticed that my body was shaking uncontrollably. I'd went over to the couch to have a seat and try to calm myself down. After thinking for a few more minutes, I'd decided that being alone with my thoughts wasn't doing me any good, so I'd switched on the TV in order to distract myself.

Well, that was the third time I replayed this morning in my head and I still hadn't found any clues or reasons why nobody was here. I couldn't remember anything from last night either. I was growing annoyed with myself and decided to just try to pay attention to what was happening on the TV screen.

"Now we take the chicken breast and roll it in the bread crumb mixture that we--"

"Today's weather calls for a mixture of some light clouds, but mostly shiny sk--"

Nope.

"Do do do do do Dora! Do do--"

Click.

"Authorities say that Addie Kings, a young girl of age 17, has still not been found. They also say that they haven't yet found a lead on the case.--"

Click.

"And this is iCarly--" Wait a second. I change it back to the previous channel. A young woman, maybe mid twenties, is sitting in front of a desk, with coffee mug in front of her.

"--was taken last Monday, leaving her gone for five days." So it was Saturday today.

"There are no suspects to this crime and the police have been searching with great effort for any clues that could lead them to the culprit or the victim. Her parents and younger brother died just 6 months before this in a terrible accident and she has no remaining family. The only people we could find who had recently been in contact with Addie were her two closest friends, Jordan Bennettes, and Jerrid Reedan. We interviewed the two to see if they had any clue as to where the young girl may have gone to."

My eyes were teary and I clicked record on the satellite remote right as the screen changed to an image of Jordan and Jerrid. Jordan's eyes were bloodshot and red around the edges. Jerrid's were the same, but it was less prominent. If I know him, he's trying to keep strong for Jordan. I was truly flattered that they cared this much. They both looked exhausted.

"Hello Ms. Bennettes, Mr. Reedan. My name is Officer Gerard. I'd like to ask you some questions about your friend, Addie Kings. If that's alright, of course." A pudgy man in a police uniform spoke. They just nodded at the man.

"When was the last time you saw, or had any contact with Ms. Kings?" He asked. After a long pause, Jerrid spoke up.

"Well, I'd last seen her at Jordan's house on Saturday when all three of us got together and studies for exams." His voice was sad and dull, opposite of usual as he told Officer Gerard.
