5 years later

"Yea that works perfectly, my flight lands early Saturday morning and I'll be there for the first script read that afternoon. Just don't tell a soul, I want to surprise everyone especially Millie and Sadie. They've been so sad about me not having been in season three."I spoke to Matt via Skype. I was sitting in my Los Angeles bedroom petting my cat while discussing details with Matt.

"Awesome! I'm so glad you're able to come back, we obviously are so glad you had an opportunity for another role but boy we missed you." He grinned at me. I squealed with excitement over this new chapter of my life and career.

"Thank you Matt, you guys have truly been the best. Anyway, sorry to cut this short but I have to keep packing. Just do me a favor and make sure the house definitely has a room available for me to sleep in."I requested.

"You got it kiddo, talk to you soon!"He ended the call. I sighed as I looked down at my cat. Man she is not going to be happy about flying to Georgia.

I got up and looked in the mirror. My blonde hair was in a messed up bun, I had my glasses on, and zero makeup. I cringed at how gross I looked considering I had just Skyped with Matt, but then again he knew me when I was a cringe worthy twelve year old so what does it really matter. I shrugged it off and went to my dressers.

I folded my clothes up and continued placing them in a suitcase. I responded to a few occasional text messages and sang along to my Spotify playlist. Today was Thursday, I leave for Georgia on Saturday at 1am. Brutal, but it's so I'll arrive around 5am. Then I crash at a hotel and wait until I'm going to the script read.

I'm so excited about surprising everyone, but I'm also quite nervous. First off there are a few cast members I didn't meet or barely knew. And secondly, I'm shooting an entire season with my ex who is still my love interest on the show. Yep. You heard me. Noah is my ex.

Basically I got offered a major role in a movie right when season three was getting filmed. It was a great role for my career, so I took it. I kept my contract with stranger things, I just wasn't in season two. Matt and Ross wrote the script so that Ally, my character, went to live with her dad for a year since her parents are divorced in the show. Fans were devastated since no one knew I would return for season four.

Noah and I tried long distance. I was filming in Washington state while he was across the country in Georgia. We kept not having time to talk between us both filming at different times or being exhausted. So eventually we were almost strangers and called it quits. It was heart shattering but we didn't have much of a choice, I'd be lying if I said I was over it though.

I finished packing up all my clothing and saw that it was eight o'clock at night already. I supposed I'd better go eat dinner.

"Hey mom."I gave her a hug upon entering the kitchen. I saw that she had already made a chicken sandwich for me. I thanked her and sat down at the counter to eat.

My mom wasn't coming with me to Georgia yet. She would be visiting but not for a while. All she's doing is driving me to the airport and then checking me into the hotel via phone call before I get there since I'm seventeen and not a legal adult.

Once I was finished with my dinner I decided to watch some movies with my mom since I'd be away for a while. After that it was one in the morning so I headed to bed.

A/N: surprise!! It's been well over a year since I've updated, I really just didn't know what I wanted to do with the book anymore and got caught up in other things. But finally, I figured it out! I don't really know when I'll end the book because I feel it's quite short but it all depends on if I think I can write more. I've gotten so much love and support on this book it's a dream, never did I think anyone would love any of my books this much. So thank you so much to everyone that has supported it and left comments! Btw sorry if this is short, there's more to come! Enjoy :)
