December 28 9:30 A.M.

Today was Nash's birthday. Being the amazing girlfriend that I am, I forgot to get him a present and I had no idea what to get him. I was sitting on my bed criss cross in a pair of denim shorts from American Eagle and a plain black tank top from Aeropostale. I gently tugged at my messy bun and rubbed my eyes free of mascara before I picked up my phone and decided to call someone who would know exactly what to do.

"Irish? What's up?"

"Hey, Cam. Soooo..."

"You forgot to get him a birthday present, right?"

"How'd you know?"

"Brotherly instincts."

"Can you help?"

"Of course. Go to Zumiez or take him on a really romantic date."

"CAMERON DALLAS!"

"Well, there's this one place he was taking about taking you on a date. Why don't you find a place to have your date?"

"Can you tell me where this place is?"

"Negatory. Captains orders."

"Dang. Well, I'm gonna go look for a place to have my date."

"Ok. Love you, Irish."

"Love you Bubba."

I ended the call and threw on a thin gray sweater. It was a little windy today so I wouldn't need much. I added my Jesus sandals and put my glasses on. On my way down the stairs, I grabbed my wallet and Nikon to film. I did a small intro about how I was going to be making a vlog and filmed me walking out of my house into the car. I turned my camera on and off when needed as I drove all over Los Angeles. After 5 hours, 7 calls from Nash, 9 from Lat and 23 texts, I pulled into a large dirt lot that was empty. I started on a path and left little marks with my lipstick on trees on my way. I heard running water and ran into a grassy clearing with a rock cliff on one side, a waterfall on a another and a bunch of large boulders on the other. I stood in the middle and laughed. I had found the perfect spot. I ran over to the edge of the little lake and took my sandals off. My feet dangled in the water as I called Cam.

"Hey."

"I found it."

An hour later, all of the boys were bringing tables in with chairs, and setting up a place where we could put the catering and put the cake. I called Lat.

"Lat-"

"Ireland Lee Europe, where have you been?" I heard her scold me from the other side of the phone.

"I was out. I can tell you if Nash is in another room."

"NASH LEAVE! SHE SAID SHE'LL CALL YOU LATER!" She screamed. I pulled the phone away from my ear.

"Talk to me." I heard after what seemed like she physically pushed him out the door.

"Well, I'm having a party for Nash tonight for his birthday. I was going all over town to find a secluded spot where we could have dinner and talk and stuff."

"Oh my gosh! That's so cheesy!" she said sarcastically.

"Hey. I'm the only one that can use sarcasm in this family-" All of the boys lifted their heads up in unison and glared at me.

"-and the boys." They went back to working. I talked to Lat for another minute and then got back to work. I needed this to be perfect for his birthday.

5:45 P.M.

Everyone left forty-five minutes ago to go get ready and I was currently sitting on the floor of my closet trying to decide what to wear. It would be a little cold tonight so I had three pairs of highwaisted jeans in front of me. One was black, another maroon and the last one was light denim. I finally decided to go with the denim jeans and curled my hair. After a half hour, I had called Matt to go pick up the Chipotle catering, Cameron to pick up the soda, and Carter to call everybody who hadn't been there to help out earlier in the day. We had set up laterns to lead the way so that nobody would get lost. I found Nash downstairs and gently nudged his shoulder.
