"Are you ready, sweetie?" My mom asked. I grabbed my two suitcases and walked towards the taxi.
"Bye, Mom. Love you," I said back. A pair of arms wrapped around me from behind and I turned into them.
"See ya, Ireland. Don't die," Cyprus said into my hair.
"I won't try to. I promise," I pulled a little harder and let go.
I hugged Hana and the twins then set my luggage in the back of the taxi. I waved to my family. Except my dad. He was still on his business trip. I waved until the driver turned the corner.
"Where are we going, miss?" the cab driver asked.
"The airport please."
After the plane ride
I checked my phone for the email and looked around. My plane just barely landed and I still needed to get my suitcases. I walked towards the place where you get your luggage and waited for my bags. I saw my two black suitcases and hurriedly grabbed them. I walked off towards the entrance. A man with a sign that said 'Miss Ireland Europe' on it was standing right next to the door.
"Hey, I'm Ireland," I said. I waved a little two fingered wave and drew my suitcases up next to me. He nodded and took my bags.
"I'm George. It's amazing to meet you, Miss Europe," He said enthusiastically.
"I'll be your driver for the time you are at Magcon. I hope you enjoy your time here."
"Thank you, George," I nodded and started walking behind him. I sat in the back seat while George put my bags in the back and started the car.
"We're on our way to The Hotel Bel-Air," George said through the small window. I nodded and pulled out my phone. About 30 minutes later I was standing in front of the biggest hotel I have ever seen. I took a deep breath in and walked through the huge double doors and sucked another a deep breath into my lungs. I can do this.

I was knocked down to my butt. I looked up and saw three boys playing football.
In the hotel lobby.
"Sorry, sweetie! Maybe you should watch where you're going," one of the boys exclaimed over his shoulder. I scoffed and stood up then brushed myself off. My confident grin turned into a small frown in just a few seconds. I stormed to the front desk and checked in.
"I'm Ireland Europe with the Meet and Greet Convention," I told the lady at the desk.
"Oh, good luck with that, Sweetie." She focused back on her computer screen leaving me pondering my own thoughts.
"Your room number is 227. Have a nice day, ma'am," the clerk nodded at me and gave my room card. I dragged my suitcases behind me to the elevator. I clicked my floor number and waited until I stepped off the elevator and into the hallway.

I stuck my key in the door and opened it up.
A girl with crazy, red hair was jumping on the bed with a girl with long, dark brown hair filming her on her iPhone. They both shot their heads in my direction when I attempted closing the door quietly. Keyword "attempted".
"Hey!" They both yelled.
"Hi," I waved a little two-fingered wave.
"Are you Ireland or Miranda?" the crazy, red-head asked.
"I'm Ireland," I responded.
"Oh, cool! I'm Mahogany and this is Sierra," she said as she pointed to herself and the brunette. Sierra waved and then paid her attention back to her white iPhone 5s.
