"Excuse me miss. Miss..." I felt a nudge on my shoulder and opened my eyes. It was a woman about the age as my mom. She had a flight attendant outfit and bright red lipstick on.
"Oh, sorry," I said as I grabbed my bag.
"No, you're fine. Or are you?" she said. I looked back. She pulled a small packet of makeup remover wipes out of her front pocket on her shirt and handed them to me. I gingerly took it and nodded.
"Thank you." She nodded and walked away. I went straight to the bathroom to wipe my make up off. There was going to be a while before all of my luggage came through. When I was done, I asked a caddy to follow me to get my multiple suitcases. We piled each one on the caddy and I hailed a cab. I gave the cab driver the address and sat back in my seat. A few minutes, we arrived in front of the apartment. The taxi driver helped carry my stuff up to the third floor and I paid him a little extra. He tipped his hat and walked away. I knocked on the door three times and waited.
"Haha yeah-Ireland!?" Cameron opened the door.
"Ireland's here?" I heard Matt call from the living room. Matt and Cam and I had bonded over the passed two months. Cam opened his arms and I ran into them and started crying. I probably stained his shirt but I didn't really care that much. I would just buy him a new one. Matt brought in a all of my suitcases to the guest room and sat down with Cam and I on the couch.
"What happened?" Cam asked.
"Let's just say Irenash is no more," I wiped my cheeks with the sleeve of my sweater and smiled a little.
"And..." Matt pushed.
"Matthew!" Cam warned him.
"No, it's fine, Cam. We were at Nash's house. His parents don't really like me so we went out for the day and then came back and he went to a party with some of his friends and Carter called me. He said I should go to the party to check in with Nash. When I went in, he was sucking face with a stupid blonde. (A/N: no offense to blondes. I am one myself ;)) He started taking her up to a bedroom and I told him I hated him. Well, I yelled it. After that I ran home and got in the car with Carter and here I am," I said, lifting my shoulders at the end. Then I satrted full on bawling again.
"Why would he do this? We just barely got together and pulls a fucking stunt like this? Like, are you fucking kidding me? I feel like a stupid piece of shit for thinking he ever even liked me. And the girl at the mall warned me, too. 'Don't get caught up in him' she said. 'He's a player' she said. Oh my God, why am I so damn stupid?" I rambled on and on. I saw Matt and Cam's eyes widen at my vulgar vocabulary. I didn't swear much.
"I'm so sorry, Ireland," Matt came over and hugged me. I sniffled into his shoulder. Pulling away, I wiped what was left over makeup and tears with the sleeve of my sweater, only to be replaced with new ones.
"Would you mind if I stayed here for the break? I don't really want to go home to an empty house..." I asked.
"Of course you can stay! Stay as long as you need. We've needed a cook here for awhile," Cam said. I shoved his shoulder. He shoved back and we got into a full on wrestling match with Matt as the commentator. I pushed Cam onto his back and straddled him.
"Say Uncle!" I yelled.
"WHOA! Should we leave?" I heard a voice from the doorway. I looked up and noticed how bad it was. Minus the part that Matt was down on the ground smacking his fist while counting down from ten. I looked up at the Jacks and slowly slid off of Cam. We both were blushing but we didn't look at each other.
"Just a small wrestling match." I suddenly gained confidence and stood up. All of the blush went away and I grabbed Cam's hand to pull him up. He muttered a 'thanks' and walked into the kitchen.
