Aya POV
I took Mikey to Waffle House and he was so happy because that's all he wanted.
"So how has school been" he asked eating his bacon
"It's been coo" I shrug
"Let me see them grades" he said reaching his hand out
I pull up my grades and showed him my phone.
"Two C's Aya" he looked at me.
"I know I'm working on them" I say eating my waffle.
"You need to get them up ASAP"
"I will" I close out the app.
"So why you struggling?"
"I just got a few missing assignments that's it"
"Do your work"
"I do but I've been tired a lot lately and some of the classes just don't get done"
"For the rest of the semester you are doing all your homework none left behind" he burped
"Yeah okay dad"
"I prefer daddy but whatever floats your boat"
We didn't have anything to go so we headed back to my parents house.
"Where y'all duck off to?" My mom asked
"I took him to get some food"
"You ain't bring me back none"
"I'm sorry" I say trying to hug her
"Nah don't touch me" she put her hand out
"Don't be like that"
"Shut up. I'll be back" she walked out with her purse.
"Jade and Alexa probably still upstairs so we can sit down here" I tell him going to the living room.
"Bet" he sat beside me.
Several moments later...
"Okay girl I'm out I gotta go talk to my baby daddy" Jade said walking downstairs
"Good luck"
"Thanks ima need all of it"
"Ima just go with her" Alexa threw up the peace sign.
"Turn on that stupid ass show you be watching" Mikey tapped my thigh
"What stupid show?"
"The one with the girl"
"Wow that was so much help" I look at him
We just watched Ginny and Georgia.
"This stupid" he said after three episodes played
"Mhm"
"Press continue watching" he said
"I thought it was stupid" I asked
"It is" he laid his head on my thighs.
We stayed like that till my dad got home.
"What y'all got going on?" He came in the living room
"Nothing old man" I say
"Better be nothing" he walked to the kitchen
"And if we wasn't" I joke
"I'd beat yo ass" he shrugged "better still be a virgin"
"I am" I lie
"She a fucking freak" Mikey mumbled
