Chapter Forty-five

A few months later...

Aya POV
So Mikey made this big decision and didn't let know until after it was made that once we moved into our new house and I had the baby  we'd be starting a tv show. What if I was camera shy? then what?

I mean it wouldn't be bad but come on now we finna have a new born and I don't want all that tv stuff going on while I'm tryna lay my baby down for a nap.

"You ready?"

"Yeah" we walk out into Skye's backyard where the baby shower was being held

"Mommy and daddy have arrived" I head over a microphone "come and say a few words"

"I want to say thank you all for coming it means a lot and we love you call for that but Im ready for some cake" I say holding my dress so it didn't drag

"Yeah basically what she said thank y'all for coming to celebrate our baby coming into the world." Mikey said after me

I headed straight for the hot wings and crashed that in under 5 minutes.

"Stop before you have heart burn" Mikey told me while I tried to get more

"One more please" I frown

"No you can have some water though" he threw me a water bottle

"Thanks" I say dryly

I took a few sips of that before sneaking me a cupcake. I told them I wanted cake.

"What you over here doing?"I turn seeing Alexa

"Heyy" I say nervously

"Just fat" she shook her head

"Im carrying a baby what's your excuse?"

"You lucky you pregnant"

"Yeah whatever" I say wiping around my mouth

"Where is the mommy to be?" I heard Skye with that dumb ass microphone

"She right here sneaking cupcakes!" Alexa yelled and everyone caught me.

"Hey, how y'all doing"

"Get yo pregnant behind up here"

"Sit at your thrown while we open you baby gifts"

I sat in a pink chair and Mikey sat in a blue one right next to me.

"Go head and open em"

"Who is this from?" I hold up a glitter gold bag

"That's from me" my mom said from the side

"Thank you mommy" I say opening the bag with a cute diaper bag

"You're welcome baby"

"This is cute!"

"It's nice" Mikey said opening the next bag

"That's from James family"

We opened the bag and seen a onesie jersey with Mikey's number on it and the last name"

"This is so cute" I pout

"Appreciate you fam" he said smiling

"I thought of the gift idea" Zhuri said

"Thank you Zhuri" he laughed

As the gifts went on it only got better there was even some stuff for us like condoms. I bet we'll use em next time...nah but a good thought.

We got plenty of bottles,wipes,formula,and outfits plus the ones at the house.

"So Mikey and Aya still don't know the gender of their baby so let's find out shall we?" Skye asked the crowd
