Emma and Nathan sat opposite to each other.

He hadn't come for a lot of his sessions and would always make some excuses afterwards so Emma had asked him to come at the earliest possible hour.

"I have places to be Emma." Nathan said after 10 seconds of sitting in the place.

"Where is that?" She asked.

"I have a meeting with an old friend and she might have answers to a lot of our current problems."

He told her honestly, he never lied to Emma and Alaric. That's why they trusted him despite of his magical nature.

"What current problems are those?" Emma asked.

By now he got off the couch and started to pace around the room.

"I'm sure Dorian would tell you right after my session."

She hummed, just like him to know everyone's therapy session.

"So, let's talk about things that are striking with me? Is that ok?" She asked and he nodded with a no big deal look.

"What about the sudden change in your relationship with Hope?" She asked and he sighed.

"The man has a mystical knife to figure out and he still finds time to tattle on the Therapist." He said and she smirked.

"That's not an answer." Emma said.

He gave a deep sigh and dropped on the couch.

"It's Entropy, Emma." He said plainly.

"Care to elaborate." Emma said.

"We were in a stale and stable system, that was in order. Hope was a loner and I was not. Then Landon Kirby stole a knife, which caused a massive tragedy and created a disorder."

"So, according to you. To regain stability this system made you and Hope friends to gain stability." She said and he looked at her impressed.

"Yes. Exactly that. You are good."

"Thank you." She said and then asked.

"How does this change make you feel?" She asked.

He thought for a second and then spoke.

"Can I be honest with you?" He asked and she smiled.

"I'd prefer that." Emma said.

"What I am about to tell you is only known by two other people in the world. I -!"

"Are you going to tell me you like Hope?" Emma dropped the bomb and he looked at her wide eyed.

"Yeah." He said in a low voice. She smiled at him.

"I've always had an inkling, but now I'm glad you accepted that. All that's left is for you to tell her." Emma said and he scoffed.

"There is a very valid reason why she hates me." Nathan said.

"Which you will 'never' tell me." She remained him about his constant stand on the subject.

"Yes. A personal disaster of my own making." He said and before any of them continued, his phone went off.

"No phones during Therapy Nate." Emma scolded.

He looked at her apologetically.

"I know, it's the friend, they will be at Mystic Grill in 20 minutes and I have to inform Ric before I head out."

He said and she nodded.

He stepped out and met with Alaric in the library.

"She's here. She might have some answers for us." Nathan said as spotted the man, who was searching around for some books. He turned to Nate as he heard him.
