Loss is constant.

Nathan was loading last of his stuff in the back of the truck he had rented, he had spent most of the night packing his stuff up.

He sighed in relief when he realised he was done with the packing and he told the driver to drive away.

It was very early in the morning, and he realised that he had some more goodbyes to go through. He was however only worried about one more.

He'd find Penelope and pour his heart out to her but for now he needed to say goodbye to the first friends he saw.

And immediately upon entering the school he saw MG and Kaleb walking in the hallway, they saw him and moved towards him.

"Nate bro! That was pure op last night." MG said as Nathan smiled.

"Thank you MG, I'm glad you liked it."

Kaleb suddenly spoke.

"Liked it?! I literally never expected something like that out of you. It was pure bliss."

Kaleb said and they all started laughing. He sighed as he said.

"I got to tell you guys something."

They looked at him in confusion, and just like that his day of headache started.

They all had the same questions. Why and when, he gave them some story as he shared hugs and handshakes.

Most of the girls he had slept with, once or more, gave him a kisses on the cheek but otherwise the day had been quite uneventful.

It was during Lunch that Penelope Park cornered him.

"Are you fucking kidding me?"

She screamed from across the hall as he sighed in defeat and the entire hallway froze as it looked between them.

"I have a very good explanation Penny."

"You better!" She said exasperated as she marched up to him, held him by his collar and took him away.

While she took him away, he waved people to be normal as he was taken to the nearest quietest place.

"Now speak." She threatened as soon as they were alone. Then he told her everything.

The only one to know his whole truth, everything that has happened to him and everything that he is going to do.

Everything he is. When he stopped his Monologue she was crying, and he chuckled.

"I should write a book. I'll get money for making girls cry, so I won't feel so bad."

She snickered at this through the tears;

"You are a dick." He chuckled as he hugged her, which she returned.

"You still love her? After all of this? After all that happened to you, after all you did to yourself. You still love her."

He hugged her more tightly as he said.

"I don't think I'll ever be able to stop loving her, but I think I will move on."

She nodded into his chest as she said.

"Go! Kill your demons! Find yourself a hot girlfriend and kiss her like you mean it."

He chuckled as he kissed her forehead and then hugged her tightly once more.

After that they went back to classes, as Nathan walked into his chemistry class he was surprised that his usual seat in the back was not empty.

Jed sat in it and had his head down as he scribbled into his open notebook. Nathan sighed as he moved towards him.
