Chapter 7

~~The Highway~~
We eventually all woke up and packed up an got ready to leave.
Morales and his family left to find there people.
Me and Daryl rode in a truck together.
"So... How's life" I asked randomly
"Shit" he said smirking
"I'm bored" I said
"Count the walkers while we pass by"
"If we hit one it's 50 points" I said laughing
"If you see one it's 10" he said playing along
He's actually not so bad

We eventually stopped because of a blockage.
There weren't many biters but we were still careful.
I wish I had my bow...
"Sigh"
"What's wrong" carol asked"
"My bow broke and I wish I had it." I said sadly
"Maybe you'll find one" she said happily
Leave it to her to be the optimistic one

I heard Aim talking about how she missed her bow. Id miss my crossbow if I lost it.
Well might as well start scavenging.
After about 3 card I had a box of matches, a lighter, a box of ammo, a knife (photo above) , and some clothes.
I got to a new car and in the back seat was a bow with a bunch of arrows.
"I miss my bows..."
I could give it to Aim with the knife

I was scavenging through cars when I heard Daryl call my name.
"Aim I got something for ye" he said
I turned around and he held out a beautifully carved bow with arrows and a knife with brass knuckle grip
"Oh my god Daryl thank you " I said and before I could think I hugged him.
Shit
I was about to pull away when he wrapped his arms around me and returned the hug
What the hell are you doing to me Dixon?
