Chapter 15

Eventually I calmed down enough and fell asleep in his arms.
When I woke up,daryl was gone but the bed was still warm so he couldn't have been gone for long.
"Morning" Lori called to me as I walked out
"Hey" I said politely "Wheres Daryl at?"
"Him and Rick went on a run" she said and smiled.
I walked over to the mass grave of the Greene family and my brother.
"Aim can I see you for a minute?" Hershel called out.
I walked up to the porch.
"What can I do for you?" I asked
"Rick and Daryl went out a while ago. I don't think there dead but I think someone should go check on them." he said concerned
"I can do it." I said and he gave me a set of keys
"Glenn! Wanna come with me to go find Daryl and Rick ?"
He nodded and we set off

"There's the store" I said
"They've been here. I can tell"
We walked in just in time to see a walker go down with a arrow in its head.
"Hey guys? You in here?" Glenn asked
Ring the dinner bell
Glenn wouldn't survive a horror movie...
"Yeah ,come on back here." Daryl yelled
We walked to the other side just in time to see another walker fall.
"What are y'all doing here?" They both ask
"Hershel was worried and said you'd been out for a while." I said
"Well at least you were smart enough to ask Glenn to come " Daryl mumbled
"I have a bachelor degree sir. What do you have?" I asked
"An overprotective girlfriend." He said with a smirk.
"Real mature Daryl."
I scoffed and started walking the other way.
"So are you" he laughed and grabbed my arm pulling me back to the corner.
"Guys hate to break love fest 2000 but we have an apocalypse to get back too so if you'd join us." Glenn said smiling
"Unfortunately" I said a stuck my tongue out at him.
We all laughed and started walking back to our truck.
How nice was Glenn to switch spots with Daryl?
Not really Daryl made him.
But I can believe he wanted too....Right?
"So... You eat today" he asks
"Yes" I say.
Maybe he can't tell lies
"Look into my eyes when you say that" he glared
"I-uh-ate th-this morning" I stuttered
I hate lying .
"Well you're gonna eat when we get back to the farm" he mutters before kissing my check
He's too smart for his own good.
