Chapter 10

~~ Feelings undone~~
"I think it's clear" Daryl whispered "But just in case stay here"
"I can take care of myself" I glared
"Just stay here" he yelled
After making sure we were safe we walked out and ran back to the camp
"Y'all find Sophia yet?" I asked
"No ,but were working on it" Rick said
"We ain't no good in the dark. Well trip and fall" Daryl said
"Your just gonna leave my daughter out there" Carol cries
"We'll find her carol don't worry" I assured her
She walked back to the RV sobbing the entire way and Lori went with her to comfort her
"Alright get some sleep were leaving at first light"
I walked back to the truck and climbed in the back and laid down.
"Still can't sleep?" Daryl asked
I shook my head.
He sighed and walked off
"Here" he said
I sat up and he handed me 2 pills and some water
"What's this?"
"Sleeping pills. Merle's secret stash" he said
I mumbled a thanks and took them.
I layed down again and the pills slowly kicked in

I woke up to crying.
I looked around and saw carol crying.
I climbed out of the trucks and walked over to her.
"You okay?" I ask and put my hand on her shoulder.
"Carl got shot ." she said
"Is he okay!?" I asked
"He's at a farm. We were waiting for you"
I was confused but we went on to the farm
T-Dog was getting stitched up from a cut by a car.
"Feel better" I ask with a smile
"A lot " he says and returns it
"Where's shane" I ask him
"He went to get medical supplies for Carl with a man named otis"
I walked in the house and was greeted by a girl with short brown hair
"Hi my names my maggie" she said
"Hey names Aim"
We broke off and I went to see how Rick and Lori was.
They were crying and there's was an older man next to Carl.
"Y'all okay" I asked walking in
"Carl had a-a seizure" Lori cried
"Oh I'm sorry" I said concerned
"My names Hershel" the old man said
"Aim " I said
We shook hands and smiled at each other.
~~ 2 days later~~
"Hey Aim can I talk to you." Hershel's daughter Beth asks
I mumble sure and follow her we walk outside behind the house
"What's going on with you and Daryl?" She asks with a grin
"What do you mean" I ask
"I see the way you look at him" she giggles"He looks at you the same"
"I don't know what you're talking about" I say biting my lip" It's against the rules to get to close"
"What rules? Actually nevermind. Just tell me do you like him or not?"
She asks
" I truly think I do ,but I don't think he'd want me." I say with a sad grin
"Leave that to me" she says and walks off
