Ronnie Anne: "WAIT, nevermind. You don't have to answer that question if you don't want to."
Lincoln: "It's okay, Ronnie Anne. Yes, I am a virgin."
Ronnie Anne: "Ohh, okay. Well, I'm a virgin, too.
Lincoln: "Oh, really? I'm sorry. I just don't know what to say."
Ronnie Anne: "It's okay. I just don't want to lose it to some jerk. I want to wait until I'm married, or at the VERY least in a long committed relationship.
Lincoln: "There's nothing wrong with that. I'm kind of the same way, too. I don't care if people judge me for it."
Ronnie Anne: "Me either!"
Lincoln: "I mean, it's not like I don't want to do it. Hehe."
Ronnie Anne: "Me too, hehe. I mean I do mast..never mind."
Lincoln: "I know what you were about to say. I do it, too. Sometimes you just need the release."
Ronnie Anne: "Oh, wow. Okay. TMI, lame-o."
Lincoln (looks away shamefully): "Hehe, sorry."
Ronnie Anne: "It's okay. I'm just teasing you."
Lincoln: "That's another question I've always wanted to ask you."
Ronnie Anne: "What?"
Lincoln: "Why did you pick on me and bully me in elementary school?"
Ronnie Anne: "You mean when I would pants you, put gum in your hair and tie your shoes together?"
Lincoln: "Yes, all of that. My sisters said you had a crush on me, but I didn't believe them."
Ronnie Anne: "Well, Lincoln...
Lincoln looks to her in anticipation for an answer.
Ronnie Anne: "Yes, yes, I did. Okay? I'm sorry. I just didn't know how to tell you. Or show you."
Lincoln: "Oh, well that answers that. Why did you have a crush on me?"
Ronnie Anne: "I just though you were kinda cute and all. Hehe"
Lincoln: "Oh, wow. Me cute?"
Ronnie Anne: "Yes. And I'm sorry for all the stuff I did to you. I feel so bad about it now."
Lincoln: "Well, it's okay. I want to say I'm sorry for all the names I called you. You know, saying you're rude, gross and totally annoying. I hated you then. But now I see why you did it. You just didn't know how to show it. How would an 11-year-old know how to express her feelings? I didn't understand it at the time."
Ronnie Anne: "Lincoln, it's okay. I'm glad we could at least talk it over. I'm glad we could make amends. I know you hated me. I honestly wouldn't blame you. If I had someone bullying me like that, I would hate them, too."
Lincoln looks to her and notices her hair flowing with the wind coming off the beach. He looks over and sees a purple flower.
Lincoln: "Hey, it's your color purple. The color you always wore."
Ronnie Anne: "Hey, yeah, it is."
Lincoln: "This would look good in your hair." Lincoln places the flower on the left side of her head in her hair."
Ronnie Anne: "Well, how do I look?"
Lincoln (blushing): "Bah, bah, bah.."
Ronnie Anne: "Lincoln, snap out of it."
Lincoln: "Oh, sorry. Hehe. It looks cute on you. Purple goes well with you."
Ronnie Anne: "Well, thank you, Lincoln."
Lincoln looks at her, lets out his hand and puts her hair behind her ear.
Lincoln: "Hey, I know! Let's take a picture. My phone should still have battery life left!"
Ronnie Anne: "Good idea, Linc."
Lincoln gets up, but notices Ronnie Anne is struggling to get up."
Lincoln: "Hey, do you need some help?"
Ronnie Anne: "Yeah, I could use some help up. I've been sitting like this for a while."
Lincoln gladly puts his hand out to help her. Her hand meets his halfway. Lincoln just happened to look down on her as she's looking up at him. Their eyes lock onto one another, but they just keep looking deep into each other's eyes. Time is almost standing still for the two of them. The two of them are blushing the brightest of reds. Their heartbeats in sync. Butterflies in their stomachs. Lincoln helps her to her feet.
Lincoln: "Okay, let's see how much power it has."
Lincoln turns on his phone.
Lincoln: "Oh, awesome! It still has 60% left!"
Ronnie Anne: "Let's take lots of photos."
Lincoln: "Of course. You first! Strike a pose!"
Lincoln takes a few photos of Ronnie Anne as she poses on the beach.
Ronnie Anne: "Don't get my bad side!"
Lincoln: "You don't have a bad side, babe!"
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne Understand the inside joke and both burst out laughing.
Ronnie Anne: "Let me take some pics of you now!"
Ronnie Anne takes his phone to take pictures of him.
Lincoln: "Now let's take some selfies together!"
Ronnie Anne: "Okay!"
Lincoln turns on the rear-facing camera to take selfies. They make goofy faces, serious faces and in the last photo Lincoln feels something sweet on his cheek. Ronnie Anne kissed him on the cheek just in time to take the photo.
Lincoln: "A kiss on the cheek?"
Ronnie Anne: "Yeah, of course. Why not?"
They both flush.
Lincoln: "It was unexpected, but awesome!"
Lincoln puts his phone back in his pocket. As they start to walk along the beach, he feels something touch his hand. It's Ronnie Anne's hand. He happily holds it as they keep walking.
Ronnie Anne: "You know, Lincoln, I'm glad I could be stuck here with you."
Lincoln: "I was wrong about you Ronnie Anne. I'm so sorry about our past."
Ronnie Anne turns to him and offers a hug. Lincoln hugs back, but tighter. They let go of one another. Lincoln is still holding her by her waist, Ronnie Anne is holding him by his shoulders. They once again look at each other right in the eyes. As they do, their heads slowly gravitate to each other. Their lips get closer and closer until they finally meet in the middle. They kiss each other for a while before they finally let go.
Ronnie Anne and Lincoln look at each other in awe. They say nothing. They both know what this means.
Lincoln: "Wow, that was..."
Ronnie Anne: "Sweet. It was sweet, Lincoln."
Lincoln: "Yes, your lips are very sweet."
Ronnie Anne: "So are yours."
They both hold each other hands while they continue walking down the beach.
Ronnie Anne: "Hey, can I spend the night with you tonight? I get lonely sometimes."
Lincoln: "If you'd like to, sure! I get lonely, too. Hehe"
Ronnie Anne joins Lincoln in his hut. They both lie down next to each other. Ronnie Anne laying in Lincoln's arms as the new couple slowly drifts off to sleep.
