Eight weeks later: The Lincoln and Ronnie Anne are truly in love with one another. Lincoln does anything for Ronnie Anne. Everything seems new to them. They can't stand to be away from each other. Lincoln wakes up and sees Ronnie Anne isn't by his side. He hears dry heaving close to their hut. He goes outside to investigate.
Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne? Ronnie Anne? Is that you? Where are you?
Ronnie Anne sees him looking for her. She tries to hide behind a tree, but a few dry heaves gives her position away.
Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne, oh my god, are you okay?"
Ronnie Anne: "Yes, Linc. Now go away."
Lincoln: "No, I want to help you."
Lincoln gently rubs her back.
Lincoln: "Are you done?"
Ronnie Anne: "I think so..."
Lincoln helps her up and walks her over to their hut.
Lincoln: "Okay..is everything okay? You have been acting strange lately."
Ronnie Anne: "I'm fine..You don't need to ask anymore."
Lincoln: "I know something is up."
Ronnie Anne: "No..*sniffles*..I'm okay."
Lincoln: "If you insist. I mean there has to be a reason you get sick before I wake up. You have weird food cravings. You've even been walking around without your coconut bra.
Ronnie Anne turns away from him and starts sobbing.
Ronnie Anne: "Okay..fine. I've been hiding something from you..."
Lincoln: "Is it a way off this island? Is there someone else?
Ronnie Anne: "No, Linc..don't you understand?!"
Lincoln stands in silence.
Ronnie Anne: "No, don't you see? All three things you just described?"
Lincoln: "I guess I don't understand..."
Ronnie Anne: "The morning sickness? The weird food cravings? I'm walking around topless because my breasts have been extremely sensitive lately?! Have you noticed I haven't had my period recently?!"
Lincoln: "So, what does that m..wait..are you?
Lincoln sudden realizes what it could mean
Ronnie Anne: "Pregnant? I might be. I have all the symptoms. I haven't even had my period in a while. I'm surprised you didn't notice!
Lincoln stands next to her in wonder.
Lincoln: "I..I.. don't know what to say... How could this of happened?"
Ronnie Anne: "Maybe from all the sex we had?!"
Lincoln: "I know HOW it happened..It was a rhetorical question."
Ronnie Anne: "Just go over there and leave me alone."
Ronnie Anne bursts out crying. Lincoln still stands next to her.
Ronnie Anne: "Well, what are you waiting for? I know you don't want anything to do with me and our baby. You probably don't even want it." *sobs*
Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne..no. It's not like that at all..."
Ronnie Anne: "JUST GO!"
Lincoln: "But Ronnie Anne..."
Ronnie Anne runs away from Lincoln into the jungle.
Lincoln stands there conflicted. She's out of his sight before he can go after her. Lincoln just goes back to their hut and starts to cry himself.
Lincoln whispers to himself: "Why did you run away from me, Ronnie Anne? I would do anything for you. If you are pregnant, I want to be there for you and our baby."
Lincoln ends up crying himself to sleep. A little while later he wakes up to a loud high pitched scream. It's Ronnie Anne.
Ronnie Anne: "AAAHHHHH!!! HELP!! LINCOLN?!?!"
Lincoln gets up faster than a cheetah going after its prey. He runs toward the screaming and sees Ronnie Anne up in a tree with a group of wild hogs surrounding her. Lincoln's quick thinking leads him to get his spears and scares a couple of them off. One of the hogs stays behinds and charges at Lincoln ramming him right in his shins. The nasty creature backs up and head butts him again in his abdomen. It backs up again, but this time Lincoln takes out his knife and stabs it before it can do anymore harm. With all the animals gone, Lincoln collapses and face plants on the ground.
Ronnie Anne jumps down out of the tree. She immediately goes up to him and lifts him up to comfort him.
Ronnie Anne: "Oh my god, Lincoln. Are you okay?!"
Lincoln: "Gahhh, it all hurts. I can't move that well. Just let me lay here for a little while.."
Ronnie Anne: "This is all my fault. I shouldn't of left. I put you in danger."
Lincoln: "No, don't blame yourself. It's not your fault. Can you just help me back to our hut?"
Ronnie Anne helps a limping Lincoln. She gently lays Lincoln down on their makeshift cot. She starts to sob next to him. Lincoln reassures her it's all going to be OK. He puts her hair behind her hair and invites her in for a kiss.
Lincoln: "Don't worry, Ronnie Anne. You and I made the baby together, so we will take care of it together."
Lincoln gets up through the pain. Ronnie Anne tries to stop him..
Ronnie Anne: "No, Lincoln, you're in no condition to get up."
Lincoln: "I'm only going to get back down anyway."
She looks at him confused for a moment as Lincoln gets down on one knee.
Lincoln looks up at her, sincerity in his eyes. He starts to tear up.
Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne, pregnant or not, I want to ask you something very important. Will you marry me?"
Ronnie Anne covers her mouth with both of her hands. She is speechless. The tears of sadness turn to tears of joy.
Ronnie Anne excitedly bursts out: "YES!"
Lincoln struggles through the pain to get up. They give each other a big bear hug as they go in for a long kiss. Lincoln lays back down on the cot. Ronnie Anne snuggles up with him.
Lincoln: "I will get you a real ring when we get off this island. I can maybe make something out of wood for now."
Ronnie Anne: "That's okay, Linc. How do you think we will take care of this baby here?"
Lincoln: "We will figure it out together. Just like everything else we've done here."
Ronnie Anne: "Even though we're away from our families right now, no words can express how happy I am right now. A little stressed too, to be honest."
Lincoln: "Same here, Ronnie Anne. At least I have a little experience taking care of babies. From taking care of my little sisters. It has been a while, though."
Ronnie Anne: "Yeah, I did babysit sometimes. I did take care of my little cousins sometimes, also."
Lincoln: "Boy or girl?"
Ronnie Anne: "I'm not sure. I know it's probably gonna be a girl with how you Loud's work.
Lincoln laughs at her joke.
Lincoln: "You're not wrong!"
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne cuddle each other as they drift off asleep happily together.
