It's been three weeks since Taehyung met the other mafia members of Alstroemeria and more and more information has been coming out.

But it wasn't anything bad. He's realized that the information he has been reporting back to Seulgi is different groups attacking the mafia.

ATEEZ was the main one attacking Alstroemeria. He's reported that to Seulgi and she ran a backup check on that mafia, finding out why they were doing it.

When Jeongguk's father was the mafia leader, he killed one of their members of ATEEZ and that mafia has had a burning hatred for Alstroemeria for years.

The others that was attacking Jeongguk's mafia was unknown. They couldn't be tracked down at all and they weren't associated with gangs or mafias.

They were just there to cause chaos.

Which had Jeongguk stressed. Everyday he makes sure the systems is heavily secured and his wearhouses and everything is heavily guarded but it seems like someone in the mafia is a traitor.

Seulgi has told Taehyung to figure who it is so he could find out if that person is connected to one of Jeongguk's enemies. If they are, they'll most likely be at the gala. So Taehyung has to be on the look out for that enemy and make friends with them so they could join the secret agency on destroying Alstroemeria.

Taehyung was doing all of this without thinking. But in the back of his head, he knew that he felt wrong for doing this. Especially when Taehyung couldn't even find anything about what Jeongguk has done wrong other than the old mafia leader, Jeongguk's father, causing havoc on all these other mafias.

It was either pure hate these people have for Alstroemeria, or Jeongguk did something and covered his tracks very well.

All of them were at the Alstroemeria mafia headquarters building where Jeongguk takes his role as a leader and manage everything that was under his wing.

Taehyung was there to keep him calm, seeing as Jeongguk was stressed and all he did to blow it off was to smoke a cigarette.

Being there for Jeongguk even when he's going to be one of the reasons why Jeongguk's mafia is going to be spilled. And it sounds extremely bad.

During all this time though, Jimin and him bonded, got closer to the point where they even hang out from time to time which was not safe at all but Taehyung couldn't help to have a friend that relates to him be close to him.

Jin was still suspicious of him, hawking over him and that low-key made Taehyung feel a little queasy. Because he was really a secret agent on a mission for a downfall and Jin had that vibe on him.

But to make Jeongguk happy, Jin left it alone, at least being glad that Taehyung was there to make the alpha smile.

"I just don't understand how is this one person making everything go ballistic. I just need to find out who it is so I can take them out." Jeongguk said, frustration eating at him.

Taehyung closes Jeongguk's laptop and sits on Jeongguk's lap, fingers automatically going to the alpha's hair.

"How about you put this down and breathe for a second." Taehyung softly says.

"Doll, I just want to go to the gala with you in peace without worrying about getting attacked every second of the day." Jeongguk groans.

"And you will if you take your mind off it for now and not stress. We could go find us something to eat. Let's go to that cafe from across the street." Taehyung recommended.

Jeongguk agreed. He gets up with Taehyung and they both make their way out of Jeongguk's office and is met with the members doing their own work.

"We're going to get something to eat. Jin, you're in charge and Jimin, keep your eye on the warehouses and guards." Jeongguk ordered. They all nodded and got back to work, but Jin still kept his eyes on Taehyung, eyes trying to analysis the omega.

Jeongguk was all over Taehyung, not that Taehyung minded at all. Taehyung was in fact, loving it.

Taehyung was nearly sitting on the alpha's lap, Jeongguk holding his hips lightly as he fed the omega some strawberry cheesecake.

Even though Taehyung loved the treatment Jeongguk was giving him, he was worried for the older seeing that he was stressed. He thought that coming to the cafe was going to calm him, but all Jeongguk has been doing is feeding Taehyung.

Tae was sure the alpha was hungry himself, he hasn't ate for hours. Taehyung blocks Jeongguk's hand that held the spoon of cheesecake, looking up at the alpha with an eyebrow raised.

"You're still stressed." He softly says. Jeongguk blows out a breath, rolling his neck a little, "I am. I'm just....frustrated I guess. I don't really do anything to nobody. I've been trying to spread positivity on Alstroemeria–which is crazy considering the fact that I am a mafia leader that holds possessions of dangerous things." Jeongguk chuckles.

"But I guess all of this is happening because of that scar my father has put on these people. They hate us with a passion and I understand that." Jeongguk continued, running his hand through his long black hair in irritation.

Taehyung nodded a bit, because Jeongguk was right. He doesn't do anything to anybody unless his mafia gets messed with. But with all the attacks happening with the mafia, it all connects to his father.

It didn't matter to these people on what good Jeongguk has done, they just don't fuck with the Jeon's and want them gone.

Even the people Jeongguk's father haven't done wrong to, they still just wanted Alstroemeria to disappear.

Taehyung bit his lip then let's it go, sighing, "Y-You shouldn't have to deal with the consequences of your father."

This is sick. The omega taking part of the alpha's  downfall and at the same time, trying to lift Jeongguk's spirits up.

Sick and fucking twisted.

Taehyung shook his head, calming himself down.

"I shouldn't...but that's just how the mafia life is." Jeongguk sighed.

Nothing else was said after that, Jeongguk going back to feeding Taehyung but was interrupted by the leaders phone.

Jeongguk swiftly answered his phone without looking at who called. It was probably Jimin giving him a report.

"I found someone in the wearhouse." The Omegas sweet voice chimed through the phone, a sound of relief for the mafia leader.

"Okay but did you find out who it was?" Jeongguk asked.

Jimin hums, "I did. His name is Kan Mirae. He has no association towards gangs nor mafias, not even with ATEEZ."

Jeongguk snickers. There's no way he's not associated with any gangs and mafias. He has to be or he's covering his tracks, making sure his cover isn't blown at all.

"I don't believe that but we'll find out where he came from soon. Get the guards that guards the wearhouses and sectors. I'm interrogating them." Jeongguk ordered.

Jimin ended the call with a "Yes sir". Jeongguk puts his phone down and turns back over to Taehyung who was looking out the window in his own little world.

Jeongguk smiles at him, loving how Taehyung looked so much at peace.

If only he knew Taehyung was ease dropping into his conversation this whole time.
