It really took a lot of encouraging for Jin and Jimin to do for Taehyung so the omega could pop up to Jeongguk's mansion and talk.

Taehyung was more nervous than afraid, leg shaking up and down, hands tapping on his steering wheel.

He turned off his car and all but haven't moved from his drivers seat for the last five minutes. He was so eager to see his alpha but fuck, after what happened, he's really having an hard time facing the older.

Taehyung groans and reminded himself of Jimin's and Jin's words. He needs to do this. It's for the best and for a closure. He can't just butt out the scene and act like it never happened.

Taehyung takes his seatbelt off, opening his door and stepping out his car. He adjusted his oversized shirt (it was actually Jeongguk's) and closes his car door.

He walks up to the mansion doors and vibrates his lips to calm himself down. He then rings the door bell and knocks on the door afterwards. Taehyung thought he was doing too much so he stops knocking and waits for the door to be open, awkwardly standing with his head looking at his black vans and arms behind his back.

A few minutes go by and the loud big door opens, revealing a very tired looking Jeongguk. Taehyung looks up and almost cried, breathing out a breath "Jeongguk..."

Jeongguk's eyebrows were furrowed, confused on why the omega was here. He was actually happy to see the latter again. But they are on bad terms, Jeongguk couldn't forget that.

"Why are you here, doll?"

Taehyung's heart fluttered, surprised that Jeongguk even called him that. Maybe it was just a reflex.

"I came here to talk. You.....you didn't let me explain myself."

"What's there to even expl–"

"Ggukie please. Please listen to what I have to say." Taehyung begged. He didn't want this to stay a misunderstanding forever.

Jeongguk looks into Taehyung's beautiful golden adorable soft eyes and sighs, nodding his head and moving so there's space for Taehyung to come in.

Taehyung cheered in his head and hoped for Jeongguk to hear him this time.

Jeongguk guides him to the living room, asking if he wanted a snack or a drink along the way but Taehyung declined, wanting fo get straight into the conversation.

Taehyung crosses his ankles and plays with his fingers out of habit, soft voice speaking up, "please just listen and believe me...." Taehyung said.

Jeongguk crosses his arms, "I am gonna listen, doll. I am."

"But would you believe me?" Taehyung asked himself.

"...I got your case from Seulgi to get information on your mafia so she could find something on you. The first time I saw you, I just....couldn't stop myself." Taehyung begun, "you were...tempting."

Taehyung stops messing with his fingers and flats them out on his thighs, thinking on all of their moments. "After a while of us having sex, I started to grow feelings for you and feel so guilty on doing this to you. At the gala, I realized that I fell in love with you." Taehyung frowns remembering the mission he was assigned to do at the gala.
