After all the ruckus in Jeongguk's office ended, Jin opens the door, Jimin going on behind him.

Jeongguk was leaning on his chair, office looking very destroyed, cigarette smoke blocking from his mouth and nose.

"What happened, Jeongguk?" Jin asked, not even asking if Jeongguk was alright. He already knew the answer to that seeing the way how Jeongguk's office looks.

They stood in silence for a few minutes, until Jeongguk spoke up to Jin.

"You were right." Jeongguk laughs. "Right about what?"

"Right about Taehyung." Jeongguk said coldly, burning out his cigarette in the ashtray.

"To think that he was a secret agent this whole time." Jeongguk rubs his forehead.

Jin wanted to say "I told you so", but it definitely wasn't the time for that. He knows Jeongguk was falling for the omega. And to see his best friend so heart broken...Jin wanted to confront Taehyung so bad.

Jeongguk wouldn't let him though. He gets hurt by people only for him to be a sweet angel towards them, being calm on his reactions.

"Did you....let him explain?" Jimin spoke. Jeongguk and Jin looked at Jimin with crazy eyes, Jeongguk taken aback by the question.

"Really? What was there for him to explain, Jimin?" Jeongguk harshly, but calmly, says.

"Tell me." He crosses his arms.

"So you didn't let him explain..." Jimin whispers. Jeongguk stares right at Jimin.

"You knew didn't you?" Jeongguk asked him. Jimin sighs and nods, "I looked him up and found out. I went up to him the next day and he told me everything."

Jeongguk felt weight on his shoulders grow ten times more stronger from the information he just heard from Jimin's mouth.

"It's the fact that you knew but never cared to tell me."

"Because he said that he was going to tell you himself."

"But that never happened, Ji." Jeongguk felt an headache forming. "I feel so betrayed right now."

Jimin frowned. Everything that's happening right now, he predicted this was gonna happen. And fuck he felt so bad.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I just didn't know what to do..."

Jeongguk ignored his apology, "is there anything else he told you? Like who gave the case to him?"

Jimin looks at Jin then at Jeongguk, biting his lips, "It was–It was Seulgi."

The office gets quiet, Jeongguk processing what Jimin said.

This just made everything worse. To know that Seulgi was behind all of this...his own sister. She was gone this whole time plotting stuff against him.

It felt like his heart got cut deeper. First Taehyung, then Jimin, and now Seulgi?

Everything always has to go bad in his life. For once, can he just be happy?
