10. Wings

Nekana's POV:

Victory to victory to victory. Karasuno has been doing so well! They've won multiple matches against multiple teams that were so strong! Not only did Karasuno win, but they had fun and did their best. I'm very proud of them, very proud.

"Alright let's practice our receives, let's go come on!" Ukai, as always, eager for everyone to participate well. 

Everyone did really well in their receives, they haven't given up yet which is great! 

"HINATA! Keep your shape!!" Ukai yelled. Hinata wasn't so good in receives, at least that is what people say. Of course, I believe he can do it, he just needs practice, hope and confidence.

Hinata's receives weren't bad. He just kept falling over which is not good and can lead to serious injuries, which we don't want. Time to time he even uses his face to receive, it's quite amusing to watch. Although he kept falling, he managed to keep the ball in the air, which is a good head start.

"Everyone!" Takeda busted into the room, panting a bit after rushing. 

Everyone gathered around him.

"Is something wrong? Takeda-san?" I asked. He looked like he was being chased by a hungry elephant or something.

"We got a match.." he said, still gasping for air.

"...With Shiratorizawa!" 

At this point, everyone gasped.

"You mean..." Hinata shook a bit.

"U-Ushiwaka's school?!" Tanaka added on, with much more excitement.

"WAAAHHH!" Everyone yelled. I didn't really know if it was a yell of happiness or frustration but I went with it anyway.

"Shiratorizawa is one of the strongest teams I know. Their captain is a beast! Their blocker is quick and intelligent! Their setters are firm and steady! Their coach teaches them well. Damn you, Washijo." I kind of dazed out too much. Oopsie.

"Calm down, Nekana-san. We can do it!" Daichi cheered.

"Yeah!!"

Days and nights, everyone has been practicing for the game against Shiratorizawa.

Shiratorizawa's team is fierce, fast and firm. A strong powerhouse with strong and lively players. We're about to meet them soon enough after we finish our last practices.

"Alright, get your things, let's get moving!" Ukai took some stuff and headed to the bus while the rest followed.

"Neka-san! Do you know some things about Shiratorizawa?" Yachi chased after me, walking with me to the bus, followed by Kiyoko.

"I know that they're strong, very strong. But I believe we can make it so I don't worry. But then again, it is nerve wrecking to know we're already going against a stronger powerhouse. Who knows what could happen right?" I said, taking my seat as Kiyoko and Yachi nodded.

I've seen Shiratorizawa's plays. And I've seen their members.

The captain, dark olive hair with a brute face. He's tall and might just give you the creeps. He's fierce and focuses alot. His spikes and serves are not something to mess up. It'll be hard to block his spikes but we'll give it our shot. Ushijima Wakatoshi.

A red head. A unique look and hairstyle. Gorgeous but scary, red eyes. A pretty shade of red hair. He's as tall as Ushijima as well. His blocking skills are incredible. Guess blocks. Sense of prediction is insane. The guess monster, Satori Tendou.

A wing spiker. Fast and smart. He focuses on the game and does his part perfectly. He's sharp and on time too. Tall as well. Reon Ohira.

A setter, looks a bit like Sugawara to me. He's a bit shorter, not that much. A third year too. He's steady and knows a lot of skills. A light beige color going to a darker hair color at the tips of his hair. Semi Eita

Another setter. A second year. Shorter and a bit more stubborn. Again, like everyone else, he's fast and firm. He has a bowl-like cut with bangs on one side. Shirabu Kenjiro.

This one actually has more of a bowl cut. He has navy hair and is very energetic. He looks up to Ushijima quite often and wants to become the future ace. His skills are good, but it needs just a little more practice. Tsutomu Goshiki.

All of them are strong, but I believe we can be as strong.

"Where the hell are they?" Tanaka questioned, looking around for the strong powerhouse who seemed to be late.

"I think they're late?" Yamaguchi mentioned.

"Oh these rebellious fools.." Tsukishima mumbled. Honestly, I agree.

"WOOOHH!" Claps, cheers from audience.

They're here.

"Wow, they even look good." Sugawara said, looking at them as they entered the gymnasium, late.

Suddenly, their cheer team started. Wow, it was spectacular. Instruments, cheerleaders, strong voices, cool lines or.. lyrics per-say? 

But thats just a cheer team, that wont matter too much.

Whoosh!

Whip!

Shiratorizawa already scored so much points! They really haven't changed, have they?

"Damn it..!" Takeda huffed between his words.

"It's okay! Let's keep it going!" Ukai clapped to get their attention, to brighten them up a bit.

Whassshhh!

"YES!" Karasuno cheered. Kageyama and Hinata did a good attack and gained us a few points.

Thank God.

"We're on track, we can keep going. Let's try to win this set!" Daichi huddled everyone in a small circle for a pep talk.

They kept going and going and going but knowing Shiratorizawa, they lost the set. Sadly, but there's still four other sets we can make use of.

"It's okay, we still have other sets. We can win those." I tried encouraging them the best I could, it did something at least. Their spirits went a little higher so thats fine.

They'll do well. They'll fly and soar above the sky with their Wings.
