16. Surprise

Nekana's POV:

It's been 4 years, my father got arrested for abuse.. and investments.. and scams.. yeah..

Today, is my flight back to Japan. Everyone in Karasuno grew up already, I heard all of them were going to be hanging out somewhere. I, luckily, know where that 'somewhere' is.

I went in the plane and took out my phone, scrolling through photos of Karasuno and I together. Oh how I missed them through this years. 

I had a nightmare last night, that they didn't remember me. I don't want to go into details..

"Psst, hey!"

A hand tapped my shoulder, I turned to the girl beside me. "Huh? Oh hey..?"

"Hi! I'm Keiko. From the agency!"

"Oh, haha, hey Keiko."

"Hi! So, where ya heading? Right, Japan, but why?"

"I used to be a coach.. for Karasuno."

"WAHH? Karasuno? The volleyball team?! So cool! I'm going to meet a friend in Japan!" she's talkative.. It's amusing.

"Ohh, that's cool."

We talked the whole flight, she was really fun to hangout with honestly. Both of us got out of the plane and waited for our ubers. 

"Oh, my uber is here. I'll chat you later! Bye, Kotchio-channn!~" Keiko waved, walking to the exit.

"Bye, Keiko-chan!!~" I smiled, waving back.

I relaxed onto the seat, taking out my Karasuno jacket, smiling as I hold onto it. I looked at the photos on my phone again, I hope they don't forget me.

I went to the exit and caught up to my uber, telling the driver to go to a location.

"Thank you!" I waved and thanked the uber as he left.

I turned around, looking up at the building, smiling, as I walk into Ice World.

I entered the building, looking around for my team, they weren't in the rink, wasn't in the free-play, wasn't in the ski area nor the snowboarding. I thought they didn't come.. until..

"Hey! Girl! I see you're a Karasuno student! I used to go there!" A familiar voice was behind me.

"Stop it, you might scare her! So sorry about him, are you looking for someone, Miss?" another similar voice.

"Wait.. that bag.." another voice.

I turned around, dropping my bags, putting my hands over my mouth.

Hinata, Kageyama, Yamaguchi, Tsukishima, Tanaka, Nishinoya, Sugawara, Daichi, Asahi, Kiyoko, Yachi, Ukai, Takeda... they were all.. here..

"Neka-san..?" Tsukishima mumbled.

"NEKANA-SAN!" The whole team hugged me, pushing me into the free-play zone, laying on the cold snow, giggling and crying.

"WE MISSED YOU!!" They all cried, slowly getting up.

"You guys look a lot different than I thought!" I giggled, wiping my eyes. "But still good looki- HEYYY- TANAKA, KIYOKO, RINGS?!"

The two smiled and lifted up their hands, showing me a wedding ring. "We're married!" they smiled.

I smiled and hugged them. "Congratulations!" 

We all sat in the resting area, sipping our hot chocolates and laughing and giggling.

This position felt familiar.

I took a photo using my phone. "Cheeeeseeee~!" I smiled looking at the photo, then realizing how it was similar to the first ever photo I took with Karasuno.
