*Bohai's old home*

*Bohai is seen taking a pen and paper and writing a letter*

Letter: Dear Asami, it's been 4 years and I completely forgot to write to you and the others. I hope everything is doing well. Tell Mako and Bolin I said hi and when you get the chance tell Tenzin I'm still in this healing process. You won't believe where I'm at right now. I came back to the earth kingdom and found my old home. I'm only staying here for a little while. Before I did though, I went to the southern water tribe and seen Katara. I thought I'd go there for her help and at least give me some guidance throughout this journey I'm taking. I don't know when will I'll be back but I'm really hoping soon. Love Bohai

*Bohai folds the letter and sees a messenger hawk and slips the letter inside*

Bohai: *sighs*

*Suddenly an old man appears*

Old man: Bohai?

Bohai: Grandpa!

*Bohai rolls his wheelchair to hug him as his grandpa hugs back*

Bohai: What are you doing here?

Grandpa: I should be asking you the same question. I haven't seen you since you were a little boy. Why are you in a wheelchair?

Bohai: Well... I was badly hurt during a battle in republic city and got ejected with snake venom.

Grandpa: oh my. Are you alright?

Bohai: I'm slowly in a healing process right now.

Grandpa: Well how about this. You can live with me and grandma.

Bohai: yeah...That sounds good

Grandpa: Well come on then!

*Meanwhile on their way to the house*

Grandpa: So how did you get here exactly??

Bohai: Well I traveled here from Zaofu and then the southern water tribe

Grandpa: You're just like your father. *chuckles* always traveling

Bohai: *chuckles*

*Bohai and his grandpa arrive to his house*

Grandpa: Honey I'm back! And I brought a special guest!

*Bohai looks around the house and is amazed*

Grandma: Who'd you bring this time sweetie?

*Bohai shows up and waves*

Bohai: hi grandma

Grandma: *gasps* Bohai? oh it's so wonderful to see you again

*Bohai and his grandma hug*

Grandma: Look at you. All grown up.... anddd in a wheelchair.

Bohai: I was badly hurt in a fight in republic city and got ejected with venom. I tell you the full story later.

Grandma: Well you're just in time for dinner.

Bohai: Yum.

*Later that night Bohai, his grandpa and his grandma were looking through the photo book*

Grandma: And this is a picture of your father when he was young. You two look just alike. And this is a photo of your mother. Sadly this was the last photo we took of her and your dad and you but they both passed away.

Bohai: I miss them.

Grandpa: We all do. But their spirits will always live on.

Bohai: Right about them ahem. I have something to tell you guys and please don't freak out.

Grandpa: Oh we won't freak out. Besides I haven't freaked out ever since I lost my left arm in a war *laughs*

Grandma: What's the news Bohai?

Bohai: I'm...The avatar

*Bohai's grandparents Seems a little shocked at the news*

Grandpa: Wow!

Grandma: That's amazing sweetie. We always needed an new avatar ever since we heard that young lady Korra passed away. And now you're a reincarnation of her.

Bohai: I know. Which explains why I'm a wheelchair at this point. I was battling this evil mastermind named Jia who wanted to destroy republic city and I defeated her but she ejected me with venom causing me to almost die. Thankfully I survived. I'm still recovering from the effects but I'll be okay

Grandpa: But aren't you the bridge between our world and the spirit world?

Bohai: Yeah. I am

Grandma: *Yawns* well I have to go to bed now. Goodnight Bohai

Bohai: Goodnight Grandma.

Grandpa: Bohai. Before I go to bed. I want to give you something your dad left for you

*Bohai's Grandpa reaches for a cabinet and pulls out his dad's gilder*

Grandpa: Here *hands the gilder*

Bohai: *retrieves the gilder* Dad's gilder

Grandpa: He wanted you to have it till you were ready. And now that you're older and especially the avatar. You're already ready.

*Bohai smiles*

Grandpa: Well I have to go to sleep now. Have a good nights rest Bohai

Bohai: Goodnight Grandpa.

*A few minutes later Bohai uses fire bending on the fireplace and stares at the fire while in background his grandparents watches him from the stairs*

Grandma: Do you think he'll be alright?

Grandpa: Don't worry. he will
