A New Leader

*Air temple island*

*Bohai is training on his airbending with Bolin*

Bohai: Uhhh Bolin, you sure you want to do this? Being a practice dummy and all

Bolin: Oh come on Bohai I got this. Besides I dealt with harder hits when I was a pro bender

Bohai: Okay... I guess

*Bohai hits Bolin with a gust of wind and knocks him inside the temple*

Bolin: Whoaaa! Oof! 

Bohai: Bolin! Are you okay?! *Yells from the other side*

Bolin: *thumbs up* I'm okay

Bohai: Told you it was a crazy idea!

Tenzin: You seem up to date.

Bohai: Yeah trust me I've been practicing ever since I came back and it's really improved.

Tenzin: you look more stronger than ever Bohai. The world missed you.

Bohai: Thanks Tenzin.

*A random messenger hawk appears to air temple island as Tenzin retrieves the letter*

Tenzin: oh no.

Bohai: Tenzin what's going on?

Tenzin: He's coming

Bohai: Who?

Tenzin: Fire Lord Lei

Bohai: Who's Fire Lord Lei?

Tenzin: One of the most powerful fire lords in history. He's coming here in 4 days. This is becoming a big threat to the city.

Bohai: Well I'm already prepared for anything he's got.

Tenzin: Bohai you don't understand. You're risking your own life to fight this man? You almost died fighting Jia.

Bohai: Well this is a different opponent Tenzin. If he's more powerful than Cheng and Jia combined, then I will do whatever it takes to bring this man down. He wants a fight with the avatar? He's got it.

*Fire Temple island*

Guard 1: Fire Lord Lei I grant you with good news. The ships are ready to take off to arrive to republic city.

Fire Lord Lei: *evil chuckle* excellent. Men! Today we head to republic city for one important mission. Destroying the Avatar. The world doesn't need no avatar. The Avatar has been a disgrace to the world like Avatar Korra and the avatars before her. And now there's a new Avatar I'm gonna add to my collection. The Avatar must die!

Everyone: Yeahhhh!

*The troops aboard the ships and takes off to republic city*

*Meanwhile back at air temple island Bohai is meditating and then enters the spirit world*

Bohai: *opens eyes* spirits! this is Avatar Bohai. I know I've been disconnected from you all for so long but now that I'm back I have bad news. A man named Fire Lord Lei is coming here in 4 days and is setting a threat to the world. I need your guys help to stop this man once and for all

Spirit 1: You're just like avatar Korra. She wanted us to start a war with someone who was trying to end and conquer the world. Now you want to follow in her footsteps.

Bohai: What? No. I just-

Spirit 2: Just what? To let a world class leader destroy the spirit world along the real world? You may have saved us from blowing up into pieces 4 years ago. But we're not fighting your wars again.

*Bohai Exits the spirit world*

Jinora: Are you okay Bohai?

Bohai: *sighs* I tried Jinora. I really did

Jinora: What do you mean?

Bohai: I tried asking spirits for help to defeat  Fire Lord Lei. But then they said I was nothing but a follower. They said that I was trying to follow Korra's footsteps. They called me a wannabe.

Jinora: Well that's not true Bohai. All you're trying to do is fulfill her legacy. You're not a wannabe.

Bohai: you're right....

*Later that night*

*Bohai looks at picture of him and his parents and sheds a tear*

Bohai: What am I supposed do guys? Everyone's counting on me and feel like I'm being doubted. My only way to feel happy is you guys. I wish you were to see what I'm becoming.

*Bohai sits the picture down and lays roses around them*

*Bohai leaves the room and goes outside the air temple*
