Liam is reading a book when he heard the door open, "Sophie, can you get me some coconut oil? My feet are swollen again," Liam looks up to see Harry, not his maid. "Harry, what are you doing here?" Liam sets the book down beside him.
"Let me see your feet," Harry says, uncovering the blanket over Liam's legs.
Liam's feet were red and swollen beyond what Harry thought. It looks puffy and raw.
"What happened here? Why is it so red? Were you on your feet all day?" Harry lifts Liam's feet and carefully massages them.
"Ow," Liam winces.
Harry's motions became softer.
"There was a lot of work today. I didn't realize how long it took,"
"I told you not to stand for so long. You need to be off your legs tomorrow,"
"It's going to be fine. It's a normal thing during this stage. My aunt has given me plenty of medicines to take care of it," Liam assures.
"Using medications is often considered a last resort. It's better to prevent the problem whenever possible," Harry explains. "You're staying in your bed tomorrow." Harry made the decision. "I'll have Sophie put extra padding in your shoes like Zayn did when he had blood circulation problems," Harry added.
Liam smiles. "Thank you, Harry."
"No problem, but if you really want to thank me, we have the night to ourselves." Harry hints. He leans his face closer to Liam's neck and kisses it gently like a butterfly.
Liam shies away from Harry's kisses. "Harry, I don't-I don't think I want to tonight. Why don't you go to Zayn or Niall's place?"
Harry stops his actions. He understands Liam's condition. It's not that his husband is self-deprecating or neglecting Harry's needs. Liam has been a special case amongst the four consorts. Since his pregnancy began, Liam has had absolutely no cravings, including sexual ones. Unlike Louis, Zayn, or Niall, who seem to have increased sexual desires during their pregnancies, Liam has experienced the opposite. His desire for intimacy was significantly reduced.
Master Paulson explained that pregnancy could change a person's hormonal production (which can lead to heightened arousal, sensitivity, and pleasure) and increase sex drive, but it is different for everyone. Sometimes hormone changes, stress, fatigue, and physical changes can decrease someone's desire to be intimate.
