The following day, Harry and Louis were in the courtyard while Liam was organizing a bit of his leftover work from before the wedding. The squires and servants were tending to the carriages and horses. Louis ran into his father's arms. He couldn't control his tears.

"Papa, couldn't you stay a few more days?" Louis cries into King Robin's shoulder.

"I wish I could, baby, but I need to get back. Your brother couldn't possibly handle everything on his own. I've been gone long enough."

"B...But I'll...miss you..."

"I'll miss you too, but you are the High Consort of Gondor now. You must be strong, and you have your husband and Prince Liam to look after you. You'll be fine. I trust you to look after yourself. Promise me that the next time I see you. You'll be happy and healthy."

Louis pulls back and wipes his tears away. "I promise, father."

"That's my good pup." King Robin said. He pulls Louis into an embrace and ruffs his hair.

They observe as the crew starts to move towards the gates. The horses and carriages move further and further until they can no longer see them.

Harry took Louis's hand to guide him back to the Palace.

"Don't worry, you'll get to see him again real soon," Harry held Louis close.

"I know. I have never been away from my parents."

"It'll be fine. You still have me. I'll sleep with you tonight."

"What about Liam?"

"I'll sleep with him tomorrow. I'll alternate going to your place every other day." Harry said in a carefree manner.

"Are you alternating us?" Louis asked, raising one of his eyebrows

Harry pulls Louis closer, their nose touching. "I'm surrendering myself to my beloved consorts." He said dramatically.

Louis laughs at the way his husband teases and pulls him into a kiss.

That night Louis gave into Harry in the most passionate way he knows how. He loves his sex with Harry and Liam, but there is something much more intimate with Harry alone. The feeling of them becoming one.

With Louis and Liam being on the council, everything was fine in court.

While everyone was doing their own thing, the Light Festival was approaching. (The Light Festival is celebrated in honor of Appollo, the God of Sun, and Selene, the Goddess of Moon.) This gives people the opportunity to participate in the festival's preparation. People begin to light up the cities with lanterns and fairy lights. The lanterns for the festival are usually made from thin sheets and bamboo. Some households would use flowers to decorate their lanterns, cover them with fairy dust, and let them fly free. Hundreds and thousands of lanterns would cover the Gondor's night sky.

This longtime tradition has caught the citizens of Gondor in a frenzy. Many places will hold competitions to see who can make and design better lanterns. The nobles and aristocrats will try to display their wealth and popularity by making the most extravagant lanterns.

It is no different this year. Even in the Gondor Palace, all the servants are busy putting up decorations and preparing for honor guests to arrive for this year's festival. It can only be described as chaos.

As High Consorts, Liam and Louis are in charge of making everything come together in time for the celebration. They're sitting in a meeting right now to work through the expenses for the festival.

"It looks to me if we can cut away the vast amount of funds used on the additional light shows. We can save a lot of spending and time so the servants can get things done faster." Louis suggested.
