🌻I'm sorry to confuse those who are fans of the original story. I decided to go back and edit this story because I wanted to reinvent my writing style. I want to fix the grammar and inconsistency of this story. The One Direction characters' timeline/outcome should stay the same. Also, I've decided to alter Diana and Anne's storyline and add more layers to it because I think they're both flat characters in the original. Again, I apologize to the people who love the first story. I believe that the changes are needed. I hope you guys can look at it from a different aspect. Gondor Palace-Throne Room

The door to the next room opens, revealing Diana, Zayn, and Cameron. "What was that about? Harry? Philip?" Diana questions the two men.

"Diana, whatever you're thinking, know that we didn't do it because of what happened. We're doing this to prevent what-ifs," Harry gives her an easy answer.

"Really? If that's so, why didn't you consult with me? You could've told us. All of us. Instead, you left us to listen like flies on the wall. What are you guys planning?" Diana challenges her cousin and husband. "Philip, answer me. You went out of your ways to work with Harry, and he's the last person in the world you want to share thoughts with. So tell me, why are you guys planning?" Diana crosses her arms.

"I want to do the right thing. I needed help, and you told me to start using my head. Well, my head tells me that Harry will go out of his way to protect you. It doesn't change how I think about him, but it gives me a different perspective on how a ruler should be. He helped me bring Taylor to trial. In exchange, I'll help him with communications around the borderline, using my messengers." Philip explains.

"That still doesn't explain what your plan is. Are you guys plotting to overtake the Kingdom of Clementine?" Louis jumps into the conversation.

"As I said, the Princess stays. The King can leave in peace. Nothing will happen to him or his kingdom," Harry restates.

"King Lenord won't leave his daughter in Gondor. There's no way. He will go out of his way to retrieve her. Then, what do we do? Declare war on Clementine? On what ground?" Liam said.

"They attacked Gondor first. We can use that as the reason to bargain for our loss," Zayn suggests.

"But only because Philip's men lead them to the embassy. Once they find out, things will only get more complicated," Diana can't even fathom the idea. Philip is more irrational than she thought.

"Who can prove it?" Harry asks.

"Harry, King Lenord has sat on the throne for this long. He's not completely stupid; he will figure it out. There's no way he's giving up without a fight. We can't let the situation escalate any farther," Diana states.

"Then what do you suggest we do? We've already gone this far, Diana. Do you want us to go back? Want us to forget everything?" Philip asks.

"I don't want more people to get hurt over me!" Diana responds, facing Philip. They're eye to eye.
