Half-Nut always seemed a little more aggressive towards Matais. Not for any particular reason, but he was, in return Mat disliked him more than the average crew member. It was a fairly average day when Oblo rushed up to Yondu/Kraglin, seeming panicked, "Y-ya need to get to the lower decks, now. Mat and Half-Nut are fighting. Really fighting. Furious at the thought of Matais causing trouble and Half-Nut hurting his boy, he did rush down having to get through a crowd in enough time to see Half-Nut holding Matais in a choke hold, knife to his cheek just below his eye, starting to make a cut.
